The cabin was beautiful, everything was perfect and made us feel right at home, from the ease of renting through the owners to the check in and out. My kids loved it and got to see snow for the first time ever! The mountains are beautiful, and it is such a great place to just clear your head and take in nature. We are definetly going back, this time we will try summer time and do some fishing in one of the beautiful rivers close by. Thank you Leanne and Richard your cabin was awsome. God Bless

Coyote Moon is a beatiful cabin that is well furnished and very clean. It made us feel at home. We were looking for a quite cabin in the woods to rest and relax, Coyote Moon was everything we were looking for. There is a lot you can go do in the area. We really enjoyed taking a drive on Hwy 64 over to Highlands, NC. We will be back again and I would definately recommend Coyote Moon!

A Perfect, Peaceful Mountain Experience

I absolutely loved my time at Coyote Moon Cabin. I'm a songwriter and was looking for a nice, peaceful getaway to write and recharge. This was exactly that. The cabin is in perfect proximity to multiple wineries in the area, as well as great hiking spots such as the Nantahala National Forest. There is also a large grocery store close by, so I was able to stock the fridge my first night, as well as feed my brownie craving another night. All in all, I loved my time at Coyote Moon Cabin and will definitely be returning!

Beautiful Cabin, comfortable, all amenities where above expectations. Both my wife and i have stayed in many cabins over our 30 year marriage and this was in the top 5. The negative was not enough kitchen towels and the outside needed some attention to the grass and bushes. We would for sure make a return visit.

Mother's Day Retreat a SUCCESS

I recently stayed at Coyote Moon and had a truly wonderful stay. In looking for a cabin, I aimed to find a location that offered some seclusion (for privacy), a mountain view, comfortable sleeping arrangement and decent proximity to gas/grocery. Coyote Moon had all of these things AND MORE!! The owners put a lot of time and care into the cabin. The decor was amazing and the felt very welcoming from the moment you stepped through the door. The kitchen was fully stocked (for those who prefer to cook-in meals). The beds were very comfortable as were the seating in the living and dining areas. Although I did not travel with my children on this trip, there was a fabulous game room area in the basement that they would have LOVED! The location of the cabin was perfect for folks wanting to trek to the Great Smokies or to nearby Young Harris, GA. I spent a lot of team in the Smokies and also visiting local towns, Hayesville and Murphy. The owners left quite a bit of literature that made it very easy for me to plan my ventures each day. I absolutely loved my stay and accomplished everything that I set out to complete during my 'retreat'. Upon arriving back home, my husband said I looked like I really enjoyed myself! :-) Mission Accomplished!!! :-) I will certainly be a repeat visitor to Coyote Moon!!

Incredible cabin!

This cabin was perfect for our Spring Break in the mountains! It had a breathtaking view of the mountains, the basement with fooseball and air hockey kept the kids entertained on rainy days and the coziness of each room left us amazed. The loft on the top floor was extremely comfortable and the decor was just perfect. After spending 5 days there, we kept seeing more and more items we hadn't seen before. The access to the grocery store, gas station and medical facilities were not too far. We highly recommend Coyote Moon for your next family vacation.

First Trip to North Carolina Mountains

The cabin was very clean, well-appointed, cozy and peaceful with tons of books to enjoy just stay inside. The cabin is locate very close to Murphy, NC and other colorful and friendly towns. Everything was as we had been told with very clear instructions for the driving and on every aspect of the cabin. I spent most of the time inside the cabin or in the porch looking over the beauty of the mountains. We put away our mobile phones and enjoyed our stress free vacation. A great place to spend a quiet vacation. We hope to come and stay again soon.

We could not have asked for anything better for our mountain experience! The view from the loft was nothing short of magnificent- October is a great time to visit the area, but the best part of our vacation was the quiet solitude of the log cabin. It was just what we were looking for! We even heard coyotes in the distance the first night we were there! Plus restaurants, grocery stores, and even a local vineyard were minutes away; and we took some of the most beautiful pictures of national parks, waterfalls, and foliage we have ever seen! We will definitely keep Coyote Moon in mind for future mountain vacations.

Upon entering the Coyote Moon Cabin we could tell that it was well cared for. It was clean, well decorated and had a beautiful view of the mountains from the 2nd story deck. Our only regret was that we didn't have the time to stay longer.

If you are looking for a perfect Getaway place that offers beauty and tranquility, then this is the place for you! When we first walked into the cabin we were amazed at how beautiful the cabin was. The decorations were amazing - everything was so faultless. The entire cabin was very clean and extremely comfortable to relax in. The cabin had lots of entertainment: TV with tons of DVD's; an old-time record placer/radio that actually works along with an amazing collection of records; an air-hockey player in the basement, great books to read in every room. The view from the deck was reason enough to visit Coyote Moon. Each evening we sat in the rocking chairs on the porch and enjoyed the view of the mountains and the peace and quiet - the only noise you could hear were sounds of nature. In the local vicinity there are lots of things to do: hiking, boating, jet skiing, tubing, or walks through quaint towns. There are numerous state and national parks in the area which we able to visit. In summary, I can’t say enough about how great this experience was and would highly recommend staying at this cabin. Memorial Day Weekend Memories For A Lifetime!

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending Memorial Day weekend at Coyote Moon Cabin. Wow is all we can say! Between the beautiful mountain views, the picturesque surroundings and the seclusion of the cabin, we were definitely not ready to come back to the hubbub of the "real" world. The cabin itself it absolutely beautiful! At every corner and turn, the decor itself will entertain you. The furnishings tell a story on their own. Right away you can tell the owners put their heart and soul into this cabin, leaving out no detail, ensuring the cabin is to be enjoyed both personally and by visitors. We played games, watched some movies from the vast selection they offered, and even had a laugh or two when we went through the album collection. It brought back memories of a time we seldom get to reflect on. We will not hesitate to return again when the opportunity arises. Coyote Moon Cabin will always be one of those special places that you are guaranteed to enjoy!

Relaxing Retreat

This was our second stay at the Coyote Moon Cabin and it was just as relaxing as the first time that we stayed. It is located in a beautiful area and its location makes you feel as if you are far away from everything but you are not. It is only a 15-20 minute drive to town. The cabin itself is beautiful and has everything that you need to be comfortable. The beds are very comfortable as well. The view of the mountains from the deck and the loft are amazing. The cabin is decorated very creatively and you can tell that the owners take much pride in their cabin. They provide you with information on the area and the things to do nearby. It was a great vacation and we give this cabin five stars.

We've just had one of the best vacations ever! We've never stayed in a cabin in the mountains before and was a little skeptical about renting one sight unseen. If you are considering this cabin for your vacation, please do not hesitate. It has so much comfort and fun to offer. The memories my family and I share will last forever of this beautiful cabin. The view is truly amazing! We saw deer and hummingbirds around the property. The owners were very gracious and hospitable. We can't wait to go back! Many thanks to the owners!

The cabin was beautiful just like described. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the veiw. My husband and I can't wait to go back.
