Secluded, REAL LOG CABIN nestled in the woods on a mountainside, in Murphy, North Carolina. Situated in the SMOKY MOUNTAINS, this log cabin is on its own FIVE ACRES with great long range views and nature trails. Enjoy the total PEACE and TRANQUILLITY this home offers.

Experience WONDERFUL MOUNTAIN VIEWS, PASSING DEER, OR WILD TURKEYS from over 300 square feet of private, COVERED DECK or relax in the JETTED BATH off the master bedroom! Premium 32" CABLE TV & FREE WIRELESS HIGH SPEED INTERNET is yours to enjoy while sitting in front of the COZY STONE FIREPLACE in the living room or on the Large Deck.

The full "eat-in" kitchen has a 22 cubic foot Refrigerator/ice maker, Dishwasher, Microwave, Washer/Dryer, and all the cookware, utensils, and dishes are provided. BEAUTIFULLY FURNISHED and PROFESSIONALLY DECORATED, the cabin even has a KING-SIZE BED in the first floor master bedroom. The loft bedroom has a QUEEN-SIZE SLEIGH BED and its own bath with a large shower. Small pets are allowed with permission and smoking is allowed on the decks.

A wonderful place for a romantic getaway for two... Great for two couples - or a terrific place to bring the family!

Area Information

Murphy is a wonderful place. Its downtown area has many of the shops you would fine in a small town in the 1970s. A corner Rexall drug store with a soda fountain, a corner ice cream/candy store, good family restruants & many small churches. A river runs thru town with a park for lunch. In the area are 5 golf courses & 5 lakes for boating, fishing & swimming. Free tennis courts are available in town. A large game center with go carts, mini golf, electronic games, lazer tag, baseball batting cages, rock climing wall, a little kids area & a six screen movie theatre is only 30 mins. away. The two gourges nearby, where the mountain water rushes down the mountain year around, are cool & beautiful with many picnic areas & great white water rafting & trout fishing. Murphy is also close to Ashville, the Biltmore House & Dollywood. We love it & you will too.
You can do it all or do nothing at all.

First "Real" Vacation

We stayed in this cabin and really had a wonderful time. Since our child is now older, this is the first "real" vacation my husband and I have taken together. We enjoyed walking the trails around the cabin and actually saw a deer. We would highly recommend renting this property for a relaxing and fun vacation. thanks.

I just want to say how much we enjoyed our vacation. It was my 50th birthday and my Husband and Father were able to go for a week to stay at the cabin in Murphy. The pictures was just like it looked when we got there. We were able to meet the owners Frank and Jean and enjoyed our visit with them entirely. We will be referring this cabin to Friends and Family. It is close to everything you would want to do. Everything was there that you need for your stay. I enjoyed just rocking on the front porch and watching all the leaves change and just enjoying the scenery. We look forward to going back again. We didn't want to come back to Florida at all. My family and I recently stayed at the cabin and found it to be quiet and secluded, yet still a reasonable drive to downtown Murphy (20) minutes, as well as Blairsville and other surrounding areas. The cabin had everything to meet our needs including a great outdoor porch overlooking the hillside and woods. We have stayed in other cabins, but many are right on top of the other and don't give you that secluded feeling. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. I would recommend this cabin for a nice weekend getaway or a small family retreat.
