It's the beach vacation spot! This inviting and spaciouus three bedroom house is a beautifully resored 20's cottage sits overlooking Pere Marquette Park @ Lake Michigan. Its sunny, conmfortable, furnished living room, dinning room has a fireplace, wood floors, french doors and large windows to take in the view. The well appointed kitchen which says lets eat in on the porch. The bathroom sparkles with Cottage Mission charm. Drinks on the back porch to enjoy morning sun and then enjoy breathtaking sunsets on the front side--the Lake Michigan side. Cook out in the large back yard. In addition, the National Beaches Council of Washington D.C. again awared Pere Marquette Park on Lake Michigan the "Blue Wave" award, for clean and beautiful beach--the only one in Michigan to receive this designation--so enjoy the great white sand.
Area Description
This home sit with Lake Michigan in front of the home and 1 1/2 blocks behind it is Muskegon Lake. A large channel connects the lakes--all size of boats pass through from a dingy to a 1000' freight--great to watch.
Muskegon holds lots of summer events and festivals. It is home to Michigan Adventure--owned by Cedar Point, 2 parts water and toddler to adult rides.
Lighthouse--can walk down the Pier to it. Can walk along the channel and feed the ducks.
