Description of the Muskogee vacation cabin rental

This summer $200/night min 3 nights, $250/night for two nights. ($25/night discount if your stay is weeknights only)

Come stay at our log sided home on Lake Fort Gibson! Your group will be thrilled to be so close to amenities: Fort Gibson 15 min, Muskogee 25 min, Tulsa Airport 1:15; yet so far away. Located on the north side of Ranger Creek you are just a bend away by boat from the main lake. (Hint, to get closest possible map to the lake house, use a Mapquest search and put Ranger Creek into place name, leave the address blank and enter Hulbert, OK 74441).

The 5 min walk to the shoreline is at times steep, and while it is not very difficult for most, it could be for some folks. In the evening you will likely spot dear on the path to the creek (which is really a channel 100 yards or more wide). Swimming and Fishing off the shore is excellent as the depth drops of quickly. There are a number of marinas on the lake for boat rental and the boat ramp is 5 min away. We also have a canoe available for rent for $35/stay.

The cabin itself is a spacious 2100 sq ft with an impressive great room. Approx 1000 sq ft of deck wraps around from the Master bedroom to the front porch. The master has a queen bed and attached full bath and walk-in closet. There is a double and two twin beds in the loft, a double bed futon in the den, a queen bed in the back bedroom and a sleeper couch in the great room. You will have a full kitchen with dishes pots and pans, full linens and towels, dining room, laundry room, and a 2nd bathroom with shower.

 Great vacation Home, August 6, 2009

This home worked great for our family. All the amenities of home were available (i.e. bed linens, towels, kitchen supplies, games, coolers, life-jackets,etc. and were all in good shape). The open feeling of the great room was wonderful and great for gatherings. Plenty of eating space and the backyard decks were great! Bryan was very accessible and responsive. We'll be back if we choose this area of Oklahoma again.

We felt right at home as soon as we entered this charming, roomy cabin. The cabin was supplied with all the comforts of home from untensils in the kitchen to board games in the closet. The short hike to the dock on the lake was beautiful. A quiet, secure, lovely place to vacation.

Even though our fishing trip was ruined by the rain and snow, we truly did have a great time. The cabin was well cleaned and cozy. Not having cable to watch TV actually turned out to be great. More time to talk and more games to play. Bryan and Andrea were WONDERFUL and very quick to respond to calls and emails. Will for sure be going back!!
