One of Myrtle Beach's DIRECT OCEAN FRONT premier resorts! Walk to the beach in bare feet or sandals! BTW, with 22 pools (both heated indoor & outdoor) this resort is a water park wonderland! Lazy Rivers, Jacuzzi's and kiddy pools with waterfalls and water jungle gyms are bound to please the whole family. Motorcycle friendly!

This is a DIRECT OCEAN FRONT unit which has an extra large kitchen with all the appointments. (Refrigerator, range/oven, microwave, coffee maker, cookware, cooking utensils and plates & silverware.) For your convenience the condo has a washer and dryer in the unit. Ceramic tile in both the kitchen & baths. Step out onto the full length balcony from the living room or master bedroom and take in the smell of salt air, the feel of the ocean breeze and the awesome views of the Atlantic & sandy beach! (Non smoking unit, smoking only permitted in designated outdoor areas, again not allowed in the unit.) Ocean style decorating theme including the artwork! 4 Cable TV's, and plenty of DVD players. Start your day off with a southern breakfast at the onsite award winning Compass Rose restaurant. With the accomodations sure to please everyone in the group, you won't be disappointed and you won't hear the 'Mom, I'm bored' from the kids! After a full day at the beach sit back and relax at the Crow's Nest, an ocean front lounge or the Tiki Hut, an ocean front bar. Three great sized bedrooms. Master has a King bed! Second bedroom feature a Queen-size bed, and third bed offers two full beds. The living room features a sleeper sofa. Master bedroom & the living room also have sliding glass doors that open to your full length private balcony. Again the terrific view is included!

Good Vacation

All problems with condo were resolved quickly by property managment. Only thing that could be improved if the cleaning service as we spent most of the first day cleaning up after the last tenants.

Spectacular Family Vacation

This resort is phenominal! First of all the condo is beautiful and perfect for familys ! It's located right off the elevator and has nice size bedrooms and the kitchen has all you need for a comfortable stay! The resort has so many beautiful pools and lazy rivers and the kiddie pool section was ideal for my grandchildren! They even had grills off the pool section for a cookout. The oceanfront view of the Beach was spectacular! The deck was large and accommodated all of us to sit and watch the ocean. I will definitely go back and highly recommend this condo and resort. If your looking for a great family vacation go to Myrtle Beach and Compass Cove and this spacious 3 bedroom condo!!!

We were fortunate to have found this unit. It was clean, spacious and provided all of the basic essentials that we needed. The kitchen had everything required for preparing our meals. The additional 4th bedroom in the back was a perfect getaway for our teenage girls. Their own bathroom, TV and a balcony - they could not ask for more. The family room was newly furnished and was quite comfortable. The 50" screen was awesome for the Sabres' game. The pools were clean, the beach was great, and watching the ocean waves from the balcony of the master bedroom was very relaxing. The area attractions are close as is the local grocery store. Scobby's food was good - nice break from cooking. Our stay was terrific and we are already looking forward to coming back.

Amazing Family Vacation

We had an amazing family vacation! The condo was perfect for what we needed...It was clean and comfortable and had an amazing view of the ocean. My only complaint with the condo is the lack of dishes as we were a group of 10 and had to eat in shifts, but it all seemed to work out just fine. The actual resort was amazing! although it was completely sold out for the week we were there you would never have known it...with all of the pools, lazy rivers, and hot tubs there was always a spot to go that wasn't too busy!! The pools were heated as well so even on the cooler days when we didn't want to swim indoors, the pools were warm enough to be in outdoors. We were travelling with 6 young children and they had a blast!! I had a chance to use the fitness facilities as well and they were lovely, very clean and updated equipment. We can't wait to visit Compass Cove next March Break!! Cheers! The Eisses Family

Great Spot to Stay

February 4, 2010

I spent the past month at this condo and it was exactly what I was looking for. Richard,the owner,was very helpful and prompt with any of my questions as I was researching places to stay. Everything was as I was told. The view was spectacular and we spent almost every morning on the spacious balcony soaking up the sun. Although Jan is the coldest month of the yr here, even the days that it was in the 40's seemed more like 60's on the balcony out of the wind. The amenities at Compass Cove are plentiful and well maintained, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The condo itself is conviently located right off the bank of elevators and was a perfect fit for me with my 87 yo mother and visually impaired brother. I loved the fact that we each had our own TV and room. There is a Food Lion Grocery only 1 mi away , so we did eat in a lot and I cooked in the well stocked kitchen. The area felt safe and I walked Ocean Blvd as well as the beach almost everyday. I met many couples also staying at Compass Cove, many for 2-3 months during the winter months. The hot tubs, lazy rivers, fitness center and the outdoor heated pool were among my favorite spots. My brother really enjoyed the shuffleboard and I would have to say my Mom's favorite spot was the comfy chair in the Master BR overlooking the balcony and ocean. My first trip to MB will undoubtedly be the first of many!
