OCEANFRONT!OCEANFRONT!!/PETS/WI-FI/NEWLY RENOVATED

View of the ocean, deadend street, state park as your neighbor, what could be wrong? Not a thing! This place is clean, modern, excellent location; there were three weddings in my week visit, at this very spot. So I'm not the only one that thinks it's a great part of the beach! There were a lot more supplies in the apartment than I expected and that was great. A friend visited from Saturday - Wednesday morning and flew back to NJ from the MB aiport - VERY convenient; it wasn't more than 10 minutes door to door, and there's major changes going on around the airport. This location is sweet, being at the very tip of South Myrtle Beach, close enough to activities but far enough to be very quiet, day and night. The a/c was needed and appreciated and being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the ocean was a real treat. The pros and cons of this apartment are of no control of the owner; Pros, the stairs, IF you're a health nut! The con? THE STAIRS, if you're out of shape and forgetful (believe me, you only have 1 time to forget the door key in your car before you don't do it again - those steps are a killer :->). Also one of the cons is the size of the pool; it's very small for the amount of units that use it and because the units are kid-friendly, they take over much of the pool time. It was nice for a quick cool off but had a 'green tea' look to the water after so many kids in and out of it :-) They were having a blast though, no worries. Another minor 'con' is for some, a very well maintained group of RVs between the complex and the beach; not a problem at all, but probably a bummer for anyone that's on the first floor! Again, all things the owner has no control over. This adorable place is well maintained, has beach chairs and a ton of supplies when you arrive, great view, and despite the steady stream of people going and coming from the beach all day, it really is private. Also quiet; my parttime travel companion was upstairs in the loft and she never heard me downstairs in the bedroom and I never heard her. I can't say enough about this place, thank you for letting me stay!

I can happily say that this place is a well-kept secret! Who knew that you could find such a bargain right on the beach?I want to thank the condo owner for providing us with a fabulously clean and newly decorated condo which we LOVED! Everthing in the condo made us feel like home.It's right on the beach so we started every day by relaxing on the beach with our beach chairs and coffee first thing in the morning! We were also very close to the airport,shopping,the movie theater and restaurants.We have already booked another week next spring!
