Myrtle Beach has rennovated the boardwalk area at the beach and there is a large parking garage for $5 per day. Nice place to have lunch and they have a wonderful new ferris wheel and zip line.
Myrtle Beach State park is a beautiful way to spend the day with a picnic lunch. (small fee charged per person, so plan to spend the whole day there and parking is easy). Costco and Sam's Club are 5 minutes away, as is Wal Mart Super Store which is open 24 hrs.
