Living room has flat screen LCD TV with surround sound

We loved being right by the public beach access and were very comfortable here. No parking worries, loved the hot tub, and the owner was nearby in case we needed him. Very clean and a good value.

We rented one of the units at My Lagoon for a weekend off-season and we could not have been more pleased with the whole experience. The unit was well-maintained and very clean and easy to find. We loved the central location that was quick to the ocean and the fact that our two dogs were able to join us for our getaway. We would highly recommend My Lagoon for anyone looking for a trip to the Outer Banks.

My lagoon was the perfect place for our quick winter getaway. It's a very short walk to the beach and also easy to get around to the other nearby towns from My Lagoon. Butch was super friendly and helpful in making dining suggestions. The cottage was clean, well maintained and relaxing in the the hot tub was a plus! Our doggies had a wonderful time running on the beach.

My Lagoon was a great place for our vacation. The location is very convenient to the beach, restaurants, and attractions. The hot tub was a great, relaxing end to most of our days! We really appreciated being able to bring our dogs along. Butch is a friendly, helpful owner and made us feel right at home. We are looking forward to spending more time at My Lagoon!

We were not even sure if we would be able to find any lodging on such short notice. However, Butch responded quickly to confirm and he and everyone there really helped to make us feel at home. Nice, clean place for quick trips or for long planned relaxing vacations. Across the street from public beach access and relatively close to almost everything that the Outer Banks has to offer. (Hatteras, ferry to Ocracoke, Jockey Ridge, Wright National Monument, etc).

The "front home" at My Lagoon was where we stayed for the holiday weekend. Located on the beach road across the street from a public beach access, the location couldn't have been more convenient. The house was cozy and comfortable -- nothing fancy but didn't expect it to be. But honestly, it had everything we needed. Kitchen was well-stocked, everything worked throughout the house, and Butch (the owner) was extremely pleasant to work with. Our only complaint was a well pump motor located outside our bedroom window that cut on and off somewhat loudly throughout the night, disturbing us light sleepers. But this was our only complaint.

We loved our stay at the "cottage by the sea". Everything was perfect when we arrived. The view from the deck was spectacular. The house was very cozy and comfortable and Jayne was so wonderful and available to us. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely visit again.

We traveled to Nags Head for a relative's wedding and wanted to bring our dogs along. Luckily I came across My Lagoon, which suited our needs. The property was clean, quiet, and within a very short walking distance to the beach. The owner of the property is very nice and a great source for information pertaining to the area. There is no doubt that we would stay at one of this owner's properties if we return to Nags Head.

Butch was very helpful and just a fun guy to chat with. We felt welcomed, and the home was clean. The beach was a short minutes walk. Perfect weather. Awesome place to take your favorite "water dog." My lab, Bella, swam off leash daily, and everyone joined in on the fun. We will go back again next year .

My family and I had a great time staying in a My Lagoon cottage with our puppy! It was a small place but it didn't need to be very large because there is so much to do on the outer banks that you don't spend a whole bunch of time in the cottage. It was nicely decorated and had most everything we needed. It did not have a cookie sheet (necessary for a few of the meals we had), many large bowls (also needed for cooking), and hot pads that worked (the 2 flimsy, plastic ones that were provided did not work in protecting against the heat). We did have a problem with the coffee maker making the coffee taste plastic-y and had a light bulb go out in the shower, but we called Butch and Brenda, they came over, changed the lightbulb and replaced the coffee maker. The outside shower was very nice to have after going to the beach and I loved that the beach was so close!

Weekend getaway with family and the dogs

We just recently stayed at "My Lagoon" in Nag's Head which is a short walk to the beach. My wife and I brought my parents and our 2 dogs. Butch and Brenda were more than accommodating during our stay. They provided every convenience we needed during our stay. It was like our home away from home. Butch even recommended some places to eat that were within walking distance. We had a little issue with the key working upon arrival but the owners kicked it into high gear to fix the issue. Within no time it was taken care of. It was great to find a place to bring our dogs as well. The owners have two dogs that were there as well and are very nice. I would recommend staying at "My Lagoon". Great experience.

Great Beach rental for a Small Family!

Wow! What a nice beach rental! This is a small two bedroom unit, suitable for a family with one or two kids. It was clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, hot tub on the deck (nice little perk) and tastefully decorated too! We have two small dogs that were also welcome to stay for a very reasonable pet fee. The unit is located right across the street from beach walkway access, so you can't "see" the ocean from the unit, but it's very close. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the unit. The kitchen had everything you would need from skillets, pots, pans, plenty of dishes, cups, coffee pot, electric griddle, toaster etc....all in good shape, not rusted and worn like in some beach rentals. You could easily cook every meal with the stuff provided. The bathroom is small, with a shower only (no tub), but the shower had a hand held shower head which made bathing my 5 year old easier. There was cable TV in all rooms, and wifi access too. There was also a computer in our unit which was helpful when looking up restaurants etc. We met Butch the owner, and Brenda the onsite manager. Both were friendly and very welcoming and asked if we needed anything. They also gave us some tips on things to see and places to eat...they were wonderful! I highly recommend this unit for couples or small families it was great!

Very friendly people to work with and a very fair price for a nice place. Will definately stay there again. It was great to be able to bring the dog along on the trip. Everything you need is pretty much provided at the place minus drinks and food.

Perfect little getaway

We totally enjoyed staying at My Lagoon. The condo is tastefully decorated, the outside shower was a plus as well as the laundry room. All your necessities are at your fingertips at my lagoon...it's home away from home. We had 4 adults ,2 children and a dog and we never felt cramped. Having t.v.s in all the rooms was great and so was the hot tub. Mike and Lisa were very helpful and friendly. We felt very welcome there. There is lots to do in the area. We spent most of our time on the beach, but when it rained there was plenty of places to go...My favorite was the outlet mall located right across the street. Butch, thank you and we'll definitly be back.
