My brother-in-law rented it for the week and invited us down. My first vacation in the south and it was great! Accomintations were great area was 2nd to none. Weather was perfict. I would recommend it and plan on another trip soon!

Great getaway!

My family came to this house for a long labor day weekend. And gosh did we need it! The owners were incredibly helpful, thoughtful and understanding. Becky answered every question before the trip in a timely manner do we didn't have to bother her at all during our stay. The house itself is beautifully maintained, as well as the pool and hot tub. There is every appliance and modern convenience you need already at the house, like very fast Internet. A few of us unfortunately had to work from home at times so that came in handy :) the pool table was a big hit with the boys as well. We rate this house as near perfect And look forward to potentially spending more time here in the future!!

The first thing we notice was how clean the home was. Kitchen was stocked with anything you would need for the week. Everyone loved all the special details in decorating the home to make you feel welcome. Everyone enjoyed the week. The only thing we missed was a bathroom on the ground floor for the little ones when they were in the pool and we had to rush them up the stairs and not get things wet.

Hands Down the Best Vacation Home I Have Stayed In

This place was phenomenal. Very well kept and perfect location. The kitchen was well stocked with every appliance that we could have possibly needed. The hot tub was a great place to unwind after a long day at the softball fields. The bedrooms were spacious and so were the bathrooms. If you are looking for a beachy yet cozy atmosphere and a great place to relax with friends and family, this house will not disappoint you. I would definately rent here again. Also, the owners are fabolous. Best rental property at a reasonable price.

Friends get away

Home location was great. Enjoyed walking out on pier and walking to pier restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Shared home with two other couples and found the home provided a nice gathering space in the family room/kitchen and the convenience of having our own bathroom.

Great Place

We loved the location of the house. The house was situated on a corner with easy walking access to the beach and restaurants. The house, pool, and hot tub were very clean and ready to use. The owners left great instructions on how to use the tv's, stereo, dvd, ac units, etc. When I emailed questions to the owner I received immediate detailed replies. We will definitely keep this house in mind for future travels to NC.

Great Vacation Home!

My entire family enjoyed this home! It was so clean and had everything we needed during our stay. The location is great. You can sit on the rocking chairs on the top deck and see the ocean or watch the sunset. Few minutes walk and you are at the beach. There is a lot of room in this home. It was also nice dealing directly with the owners. Very professional and friendly. We will most definitely rent this home on our next vacation to Nags Head. I would also recommend this property to friends. We had to evacuate due to Hurricane Irene, and I must say we were so sad to have to leave Pirates Look a few days early! We loved it here!

the house was nicely equipped....the beds were very comfortable, everything was in good working order, except the outdoor deck and pool furniture was getting a bit old, we had 4 broken chairs, but we did fine, the pool was great (the temps were in the 90's so at first it was a bit cloudy, but the pool guy came over and got it corrected).....the hot tub was nice, but could use a step on the outside(i'm tall 6'1", but my other guests were not as tall and had a difficult time getting in and out)...all in all, a great time, and a great place to relax.

Pirate Half Marathon

We stayed here for the weekend of the Pirate Half Marathon and had a great time. The location is about a half mile from the finish and the hot tub was a wonderful treat after the run, would definitely recommend this house.

AC went out

It was a nice stay. We checked in late friday. And realized the AC wasnt working... it was just blowing out lukewarm air! it really got ugly on saturday, when temperature rose to 85-90.... most of us just stayed outside and slept with our windows open. Someone finally came to fix it on sunday afternoon. Besides the AC issue, house was wonderful, clean pool, hot tub, nice clean house... I would ride the bike to the beach (5 min ride) in the afternoons.

Great Vacation

We rented Pirates Look for 3 nights for a business team-building event (OBX deep sea fishing trip). The owners were very kind in letting us stay for only 3 nights. The house was in great shape and had a lot of amenities. The location is great with the beach and fishing pier only a short walk away. Plenty of stores and restaurants on the main road just a short drive away. It also has a nice deck on the top floor where you can see the ocean and sunrises. We do this trip annually and this was the first time we rented a house instead of staying in a hotel. The guys said this was much better and we plan to do the same thing again next year.

Pirates Look at 43 is a lovely, clean home. Becky and Paul offer personal service when working with them. The kitchen is stocked wonderfully. Our family spent the Thanksgiving holiday and had everything available to prepare our dinner. We have also spent long week ends in the spring and fall as well as a week in the summer. The house is always clean for us. Each time we have come, we can see that Becky and Paul have worked on the house. They have added flat screen TV, speakers and spiral steps outside which was great! Very competitive in price and the home exceeds our expectations. Betty B and family
