Description of the Nags Head vacation home rental
Whether you love the beach or boating, you'll have a great time in this canal-front home located in the quiet community of Old Nags Head Cove. You are within walking distance to the beach, shopping, or restaurants. You can park your boat in back of the house and still be only minutes to the Atlantic ocean, Oregon Inlet or Pirate's Cove Fishing Center. You can walk, bike, or drive to the ocean access areas. The house has three furnished decks, a screened in porch, a large outside shower, picnic table, charcoal grill, boat dock with mooring pilings and boat ramp. Inside there are two master suites, TVs w/cable and DVD or VCR in all bedrooms and living room with movie and reading library. There is a community pool available from Memorial Day to Labor Day for a nominal fee. Eight adults can sleep comfortably in 1 king, 1 queen, 1 double and 2 twin beds. Central Air Conditioning and Heat, Ceiling Fans in Living Room and Bedrooms, CD Player, Fully Equipped Kitchen, Microwave, Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Ice Maker, Washer, Dryer, Five Off Street parking spots (remember a trailer takes up a spot). There are several Bicycles, Boogie Boards, and Beach Chairs for your use. Sorry, no student groups, pets or smoking. There must be at least two responsible adults over 25 renting. We maintain the quality of our home to the highest level and ask that our guests just care for our home as they would their own.
ACTIVITIES/ATTRACTIONS
You can hang-glide on the sand dunes at Jockey’s Ridge Nat’l Park, kayak along the shores of the Albemarle sound, or do some crabbing in the back yard from the dock. Too many things to list but something to appeal to everyone.
Area Description
The area is rich in history claiming the first English settlers in North America on Roanoke Island. The "Outer Banks" is home to some of the largest remaining tracts of undeveloped beach along the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. And of course there are lots of things to do with the many museums, theaters, shopping areas, golf courses, and restaurants in the area.
