Wonderful Stay!

We had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable. There are no really close neighbors which is great for privacy! It is a short walk to the sound but the ocean is across the main road. We did alot of cooking. The kitchen was great- all new appliances and had all of the cooking tools we needed. The rooms are all nice with cozy beds. Around the house, there are plenty of fun activities available if you don't feel like leaving: swimming pool, basketball, horse shoes, putting green, volleyball, etc. We had an amazing week and would defiantly go back!

This is a wonderful beach home that has everything that you might want or need. There is a putting green, volleyball, basketball, inground pool, ceiling fans, DVD's, and the list goes on and on. The set up of the house is really nice with a wrap around porch and a bedroom on the main level, for those of us that don't do stairs well. There are three additional bedrooms on the top floor. We could look out in the mornings and see deer. The house is not directly on the beach but it is close and it does have a pool - it was too cold when we were down but it looked wonderful. The location is quiet and peaceful. I don't think we could have found a better place.

Perfect getaway!

A lovely home tucked away on a quiet road with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. Easy access to the beach, restaurants and shops from Nags Head to Corolla. The owner was readily available, very friendly and anxious to make sure our visit was perfect. I hope to visit again when the weather is a bit warmer! Thanks, Phil, for sharing your charming home with us. We had a wonderful 25th anniversary on the Outer Banks!

Best deal with the biggest bang

Best deal on the internet for our last minute, week long vacation. I looked high and low and this was the place. Very easy to deal with owner, made the transaction easy,. Very comfortable house with all the basic's and then some, needed, especially the fireplace to fight off the the morning chill in Decemberl. Perfect location, on a dead end street, with no neighbor's and very little traffic but still close to everything. The house is located a stone throw away from the #1 rated place to eat in O.B., Blue Moon Cafe, which we visted more than once. We would stay here again, and it will be sooner than the last time, 8 years ago. Thanks for letting us stay. We miss the ocean!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful, memorable week at this home. It was just exactly as described! The house was clean, well- appointed, spacious and quite comfortable! The location is ideal for tourist attractions, restaurants, grocery stores, and souvenir shopping. The close by Sound side beach was great for the little ones and dogs. Yes! Our two family dogs got to join us! ( a rare treat for beach rental property) The upper deck was a perfect place for the dogs to be outdoors and unsupervised. The quiet neighborhood was fabulous for dog walking. The kitchen included all the cooking and serving items needed to host a perfect meal. The pool was clean and relaxing. There was a great volley ball court, putting green, and horse shoe facilities. It made for great family competitions! The Ocean acces was close by. Each bedroom as well as the living room and kitchen have TVs. The outdoor seating is quite comfortable. The owners have thought of everything necessary for your stay! I would highly recommend this house. I will return! In the past , we have had "rental buyer's remorse" due to false advertisement; however, this was a major exception!

My family and I stayed at this house this past week. It was exactly what was described. The house was clean and neat and a short distance from the beach! The bedrooms were a great size and were very roomy! We are definitely considering staying here again in the future!

Everything about the house was perfect. The kitchen had tons of space and everything we needed to prepare our large Easter dinner. The house was spotless and up to date. Tons of sunlight in the house during the day. The kids made great use of the basketball hoop and the volleyball court. Great location, we biked to the sound daily in 5 minutes! Loved being centrally located to everything as well. We could not have picked a better home to stay in for Spring Break! Cant wait to rent during pool use months!! :)

The house was unbelieavable and more then what I expected. Everyone in my group loved the house and all the amentities. The beach was close and it was very calming to sit out and watch the stars and hear the waves crashing in the distance. The neighborhood was very quiet and all the local residents were friendly and welcoming. The owner was very nice and accomodating. He was attentive and made sure everything ran smoothly, I would highly recommend him to any family looking for a nice relaxing get away. For my first time in Nags Head it was wonderful and I look forward to coming back in the near future.

Wonderful home with lots of space and rooms, better than being at home. Loved the wrap around deck! Thank you for being pet friendly it is very much appreciated especially when traveling with multiple dogs and the reason we picked this rental. Very happy we did because the setting and atmosphere at the home is quiet, peaceful, relaxing, comfortable, natural beauty, wooded setting and nice view from the deck day or night. Close to two entrances of Jockeys Ridge State Park, close to public beach accesses and Cape Hatteras National Seashore, close enough for pizza delivery if you don't want to cook. The home is so roomy we didn't even use the upstairs which included 3 more bedrooms and 2 more bathrooms. The downstairs was plenty of room for the two of us. The dogs loved the wrap around deck and we spent a lot of time out there. We would highly recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

Best Outer Banks Vacation Yet!!

I came across this rental while searching for pet friendly vacation homes in Nags Head. We normally stay at hotels and this was the 1st vacation home we have rented in the Nags Head area. Everything exceeded our expectations. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood yet close to everything you may need, we couldn't ask for more. Though we had beautiful weather, the house was packed with things to do even if the weather turned bad. We spent most of our down time on the large decks enjoying the beach air. The kitchen was fully stocked with just about anything needed to satisfy any cook in the crowd, and ended up saving us a fortune on eating out. This was a great experience and may be the best value I have found on the Outer Banks! We have already inquired about booking a week next year.

At first, we weren't sure about renting a home closer to the sound than the ocean, but it turned out to be great. The sunsets and kite boarders in the evening were a treat, as was the peaceful neighborhood. We spent more time on the ample decks than in the house, but found it to be comfortable and just right for our group of four adults and a pup. The kitchen was especially well-equipped, which was much appreciated by the cooks in the crowd. (Hopefully some more followed us, as we planted some basil in the patio planter...) This house would also be great for a family with kids. The small pool is perfect for cooling off when the beach is too hot or too much for the day and there is plenty to do without ever leaving the property.

Absolutely Wonderful!

Everything about the house was terrific! Plenty of space for an entire family, including the dog. The location was perfect, very close to the beach and Jockey's Ridge. The neighborhood was great; there weren't any houses right next door or across the street and while walking the dog in the evening, we saw several deer. Although we couldn't see the ocean, we enjoyed relaxing out on the large deck. We weren't ready to leave and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

The Best Family Vacation So Far

Each year my family and I choose a different beach to go to until we find the perfect one. We have found that in the Outer Banks. This house had everything we needed to feel like we were home away from home. There was plenty of space to accommodate our needs. We really enjoyed being able to bring our dog with us. We loved the lot this house was on, where other houses were side by side, this house stood alone, allowing a lot of privacy. We spent most of our time outside on the huge deck area, or playing paddle ball on the volleyball court, or in the private pool at the house. Next year I think we may try a different part of the Outer Banks but when we come back to Nags Head we will definitely reserve this house again.

Just what we needed.

We've had several vacations along the Outer Banks (Nags Head, Waves, Duck, Corolla) and this was, by far, one of the best places we've stayed. Aside from a couple of rainy days; we had a wonderful week. We had four adults and three children under the age of 5. The house was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room inside and out. (we spent a good amount of time on the spacious 2nd floor deck.) The kids loved the pool and was all they wanted to do on most days. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Even with all this, the best part was the location. We were central to everything. The house is within walking distance to the sound and a short drive to public beach access. It was less than a five-minute drive to Jockey's Ridge (kids loved it there). All of the shopping and restaurants were also just a short drive away. The whole family loved the house and had a great vacation (kids are already asking me when we can go back.) I would recommend this house for anyone looking for a peaceful stay at the Outer Banks coupled with the convenience of being close to everything you could possibly want to do while you're there.

This was our first trip to the Outer Banks. The home was very nice, and spacious. The outdoor decks were great to relax on. Located in a quiet neighborhood, but conveniently located to restaurants and all the sites. Nice neighborhood to walk or bike in or enjoy all the activities provided at the house: pool, volleyball court, horseshoes, basketball (would be great for a family with children).

We stayed the last week of August and were very pleased with everything. The house is clean and open with lots of space on the decks. Lots of things to do for the kids (putting green, volleyball, basketball) The pool is on the small side but nice to have for the time in between the beaches. The kitcehn is very well stocked for a rental house, although we had to leave a couple of days early due to the storm it was a great week and Phil(owner) is great to work with. We would stay here again without question, have been going to the Outer Banks for twenty years and this was one of the better experiences with a rental.

This place had everthing! I loved the hammock most:) One of the most helpful things with this rental was having sheets you can use for your stay. We liked the location. It was close to everything and in a nice quiet neighborhood. The kids also loved having the pool. The pool is small so the water temp was warm the end of May and should stay warm most of Sept. We found the seafood joints to be over priced! Check out the Food Lion down the street. We got X-jumbo shrimp steamed and ready to eat for $4.99 a lb! We had 15 lbs of sprimp during the week and passed on spending $100 for 2 to eat seafood. The big seafood place charges full price for kids! With 3 kids under 8 who don't eat seafood Food Lion was a much better choice! The only downside to this rental and most of the rentals in this area are the STEPS! So....keep that in mind while looking for a place. I have to use a mobility cart at times and the stairs were hard for me. This rental DOES have a master on the main floor so that made it better. All in All I will stay here again so go ahead and book a week. We rec'd the deposit money back in just 2 days and all went well. NOTE...If going to food lion for seafood take a right out of the neighborhood onto the main road and look for them on the right. If you go left to the other food lion be aware they don't have a steamer for the seafood so you will be the cook!

This house had everything we needed for a very relaxing vacation. It was a short drive to great restaurants, shopping and parks. It was a short walk to the sound side of Jokey Ridge State park and trails up to the dunes. The house was extremely comfortable, the pool was nice, horseshoe pits, volleyball, teatherball, loved the hammock, and the natural landscaping. A great vacations! Thanks!

We are a family of 6 and had 2 other families stay with us (5 adults and 10 kids total)! The children LOVED the hammock, the tetherball, the volleyball net and the basketball hoop! On top of that Jockey's Ridge was right next to us so we were able to enjoy the dunes as well. Being in a centralized location, we were able to hit all the lighthouses up & down the OBX. The house was in the best location! Kids were able to ride their bikes on the street and we even rode down to the sound which was about a mile away. Mr. Digiulio, thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!! Thank you also for all the wonderful suggestions you gave us. We ended our last night in search of ghost crabs!!! Will recommend your property to everyone I know!!!

I took my family to stay in OBX for a week, unsure of what to expect in the off season. We were very excited upon arrival! The house was great. It was clean, organized, and fully stocked with what we needed for a great vacation. The neighborhood was a wonderful, private place for my 2 boys to ride their bikes & scooters. Plus the house was loaded with sports equipment to keep them busy all day. We were close enough to all the great places to go and see. We were able to ride the sand dunes, relax at the beach, visit lighthouses, go on a wild horses tour, hike in the woods, go off-roading, etc. We enjoyed our vacation so much, we are already planning what we will see the next time we go to the Outer Banks. Nags Head is a great central location on the island and very family friendly. I give OBX, Nags Head & this house 5 stars all around. You won't be disappointed. My kids and our lab are exhausted from this vacation and that says a lot!
