Madaket beach is the best beach on the beautiful spit of sand that is Nantucket. Located just six miles from downtown Nantucket this area is serene and magical. Take the Nantucket Regional Transit Authority (NRTA) to and from town or just about any other place on the island or enjoy a leisurely bike ride on Nantucket's great island-wide system of bike paths. The beach is perfect for surfers, sunbathers and shell seekers. Take in the best sunsets on the East Coast from the most Western part of the island. Deposits: Fifty per cent of total rental is due to reserve your vacation within two weeks of the receipt of the lease. In addition, a check for $1,000. is required as a security deposit against possible damages. This check will not be deposited unless there are specific charges which will be itemized by the owner. The security deposit will be returned within two weeks of your departure --or ripped to shreds whichever is preferred by the guest.
