Description of the Napa vacation home rental

Come experience the Napa Valley lifestyle at Megandina House located adjacent to a producing Chardonnay vineyard in North Napa. You will enjoy vineyard and mountain views, relaxing in a quiet and peaceful setting.

The house is conveniently located one mile from Highway 29, enabling you to be in either Yountville or downtown Napa within five minutes to enjoy award winning restaurants and the valley’s 350 wineries.

The property has been completely remodeled with new furnishings throughout. The fully equipped kitchen has new cherry cabinets and appliances with granite countertops. Bamboo floors are found throughout the common living areas with new carpet in the bedrooms. Located on a quiet street, the house is approximately 1,400 square feet of comfortable ambiance you are certain to enjoy.

Relax in the family room; looking out over the nicely landscaped yard onto the vineyard and western hills, watch TV on the Sony HD flat screen along with Blue Ray DVD or enjoy the Napoleon gas fireplace.

In the evenings, watch the sunset over the hills and vineyard with a glass of wine. In the mornings, enjoy a cup of coffee with colorful hot air balloons drifting overhead as they travel down the valley.

Megandina House owners have a small wineyard called Megandina Vineyard from which they grow and produce wines from Syrah and Petite Sirah grapes.

Area Information

There is a lot to see and do in the beautiful Napa Valley. There are over 350 wineries, several less than five minutes from Megandina House.

Downtown Napa is a five minute drive as is the town of Yountville. St. Helena is 20 minutes away and Calistoga 30.

There are many award winning restaurants in Napa, Yountville and St Helena such as the French Laundry,Morimoto; Celadon, Domaine Chandon and Tra Vigne to name a few. From Megandina House, it is a three minute drive to restaurants Don Giaovanni, Fume and the Red Hen Cantina.

There are three airports you can use to travel to Napa that are all abut one hour away: San Francisco, Oakland and Sacramento.

Great house!

This lovely home was nestled in a neighborhood near everything. The big window looked out the back yard to a vineyard and in the morning you could see the hot air balloons landing. Everything was lovely and well appointed. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful Napa "Getaway"

We stayed in this beautiful home for 10 mights and enjoyed every moment. It is meticulously clean, well maimtained, located well for traveling in the valley and the owners truly care about your comfort. The view is spectaular - vineyard, hot air balloons in the morining, mountains, etc. We highly recommend staying at this property.

My family stayed at Megandina House for my wife's birthday. Upon arrival, we could see the house was meticulously maintained. It was spotless inside and out and provided all we can ask for and more. The central location made it easy to get to everywhere we wanted go - overall it was great food, wine, and accommodations. We would stay there again without hesitation - and probably will.

Megandina House was great for our recent trip to the Napa Valley with friends. We did not realize the super location on the north side of Napa and easy access to Hwy 29 and Silverado Trail. The house and yard are very nice and everything is modern and new. Our favorite part was having coffee and locally baked pastries on the patio and watching the hot air balloons float over the house in the morning. We have stayed in expensive spa resorts in the past and felt we were getting gouged with the $600+/nite. This place is a great bang for the buck. We will stay here again...
