When visitors and residents alike want to find some of the best shopping Naples is renowned for, they discover The Village on Venetian Bay, Third Street and the historical Fifth Avenue. And what a discovery it is! Instead of finding the same stores that are so often duplicated, The Village, Third Street and Fifth Avenue have assembled a collection of nearly 150 shops, galleries, and restaurants truly unique and special... all beautiful and some set right on the waterfront... and decidedly fashionable!

Reminiscent of a European area inviting visitors to browse through the shops and enjoy the frequent evenings of entertainment. Wrought-iron furniture and park benches offer inviting spots to simply relax with a cup of cappuccino or an ice cream cone and the company of good friends.

Careful attention has been paid to assure a unique collection of intriguing shops. It's an experience not to be missed. In Naples, the shopping is most dirable for it's unique personlized vendors.

Situated among beautiful Banyan trees and colorful flowering plants, Naples' Fifth Avenue South is a breathtaking combination of a historic main street and a world class shopping destination. Here, you will find an extraordinary variety of shops and restaurants to satisfy even the most jaded shopper. In addition, Fifth Avenue is home to the Naples Players at the Sugden Community Theater and a year-round schedule of street art shows, sidewalk sales and special events. Fifth Avenue South also offers spa services at several boutique hotels.

Cozy & Inexpensive

October 31, 2010

A nice little condo with all the basics. Very clean! Easy to care for without hiring a cleaning person to come in. The restaurant and lounge are real nice features to have within the gates. Felt very safe without having to spend a fortune. Minutes to 5th and the beach.

Is perfect for retired couple like us. Lot of area to walk within the gates. Felt very safe. The pool is close and the restaurant within this community is convenient. We'll return.

Not bad but not ready for a family

April 22, 2010

Condo not really set up for family to stay and eat in. Did not have enough silverware, cups etc for cooking & eating in the condo. None of the indoor door locks locked including the bathroom (which led to some suprises). The shower head spewed water all over the bathroom. Not really enough room for 6 persons to sleep unless you bring your own mattress. Would work good for 4. Pool was nice but was a bit far from the beaches. Close to the grocery store (within walking distance). Pretty area, condo appear well maintained & landscaping was pretty.

Vacation in a gated community...

March 25, 2010

The apartment is in a gated community and the gates can be annoying sometime, because they ask you hundreds of questions for identification before they open... So you should better consider twice, if you really need to go out ;-) The whole community is very sophisticated and many things are forbidden. The apartment is on the first floor and therefore kind of dark. Some of the furniture is a little old/shabby and the beds are only small queen size beds, but is is okay. The kitchen is full of (useless) equipment, but unfortunately limited to things you need regularly (like silverware). The agreed beach equipment was not there, but provided after several calls to the owner. If you like to play tennis, you have to register (and pay a registration fee) at the club house, but this is only possible, if the owner has filled out and signed a special registration form in advance. This will also allow you to dine at the Club House Restaurant, but we didn't try it out. The tennis courts are very nice and you can also join the training of the Pro, if you like. You need a car to go to the beach or down town, but there is a supermarket and some little restaurants right across the street. Most of the residents of Foxfire are already retired and therefore the apartment is more adequate for people 60 and up. We enjoyed our vacation, but will most likely choose another apartment next time.
