beautiful getaway

The cottage was clean, inviting , safe and offered all the comforts of home. The peaceful sounds of gulls and the ocean are exactly what we wanted and received. We loved every minute and would definately return. Thank you for sharing this little piece of Rhode Island , you have a gem and we are lucky that you shared it.

Just what the Doctor orderd !!!

Forget the asprin. Just sit back and say Ahhhhhh!!! I found this hidden spot several years ago.I really love the off season time the best... Never dreaming that my daughter would end up going to college in Newport ( exactly 1/2 hr away!!!. Hotels are nice too, but this is sooo much better ..If you dare to leave?? The stores are minutes away , easy to find. Just stock up and park the car. Its all there!. nice decor.. frig,dishes, corkscrew, grill. fire pot....clams bike rentals(nearby fish market at pier) scenic stroll to either the beach ( U can really hear the waves on a quiet nite) a couple of restaurants( if U dont feel like cooking One with a clam farm !! .Great deck for morning coffee and sunsets with a glass of wine ( best I have ever seen)occasional visit from a duck or swan. save some crackers .. Never know what you will see there on the water. An awesome outside shower!!.If it rains? Snuggle up for popcorn & movie ( there is heat too if its chilly) . Oh and its clean and well kept !!!!!! My list is endless. Everytime I go I find another reason to go back... Thanks Steve and Kathy !!
