Rustic Elegance is an extraordinary log home located in beautiful Brown County just off State Road 46 West. This cabin will impress the most discriminating taste with it richly appointed decor, yet so comfortable and warm, that you'll feel right at home.
Rustic Elegance is a newly constructed 4+ bedroom log home on a 60 + acre wooded hilltop adjacent to the Yellow Wood State Forest. The front door opens to a southerly panoramic view of scenic Schooner Valley. Lush wooded hills surrounding all other sides create quiet privacy. The wrap around porch provides plenty of seating for you and your guests. Just added is a large patio with fire pit where you can enjoy the surrounding woods, watch the flames and listen to nature from the log swing.
As soon as you arrive, you will be greeted by Papa Bear, Mama Bear, and Baby Bear handcrafted one-of-a-kind doors. As you enter you will see the gorgeous 2 story stone, gas fireplace (seasonal), creating a warm, country atmosphere, amid the luxurious leather furnishings.
The living room will comfortably seat you and your guests as you watch your favorite show on the 52" big screen TV. If you prefer to snuggle up to a good book, watch for your favorite wild life in the surrounding woods, or just casual conversation with your friends then the Sun Room is the place to be with its comfy couches.
In the fully equipped kitchen, truly a Chef's dream, you will find everything you need to prepare a formal dinner or cook steaks on the porch on the stainless steel gas grill or if you prefer the large charcoal grill.
The open style Dining Room will seat 8 comfortably. Enjoy a meal on the handcrafted Red Cedar dining table. Or, if you prefer you can sit at the island bar and keep the cook the company.
The Master Bedroom on the main floor features a king size log bed, walk-in closet with a front loading washer/dryer for your use, a fireplace and flat screen TV. The adjoining Master Bath gives you the ultimate luxury of a 2 person Jacuzzi Spa, and a large ceramic multi-jetted shower for two, perfect for the honeymooners, or the honeymooners at heart.
The glass encased All Seasons Room, which can be accessed from the living room or the Master Bedroom, holds a 4-5 person hot tub. While relaxing in the hot tub, you can enjoy the wooded view, and perhaps see some wildlife.

Going up the log staircase to the balcony overlooking the dining and living room you will find 2 executive bedroom suites both with cathedral ceilings. Each suite has a king size log bed, log furniture, walk-in closet, cozy quilts, and roomy bath rooms complete with oversized tub/showers.
The lower level provides the fourth bedroom with a King Sized bed and a large bathroom. The Family Room holds plenty of entertainment possibilities with a full sized pool table, pub table with lots of games, TV, VCR, and DVD. You and your guest will also find plenty of seating for visiting. The lower level also has a Bonus Room with 2 Futon Beds complete with linens.
Rustic Elegance is conveniently located to Nashville. 8 miles from Monroe Reservoir, 2 miles from Yellow Wood Lake, Brown County State Park and Indiana University - Bloomington, Indiana.
