Write a review We found this cabin by accident on the internet and are so glad we did. Nate and Rhonda were very gracious hosts and Uncle Pete's Cabin was so comfortable and welcoming. We had a wonderful honeymoon and look forward to visiting again soon. As soon as we drove through the gate, our first thoughts were, how beautiful this place looks! Then we entered the cabin, everything looked so comfortable and perfect. I knew we don't live as far away as most of your guests, but we will definitely be back and we will recommend this place to friends, family and even strangers! We couldn't have thought of a more beautiful, peaceful environment than this place here, to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. We wish we could have stayed longer. We went to Nashville every day...saw the Grand Ole Opry, shopped at Opry Mills Mall, patronized the Cracker Barrel, listened to great music at Ernest Tubb's Midnight Jamboree, dined on the General Jackson (supurb show by the way) and visited the Country Music Hall of Fame! :) We are both huge Country Music Fans, so that was a treat. The pictures and writeups looked great, but you never know about how real the marketing really is. Well,it far exceeded what was actually presented in their website. Exceptionally clean,pretty as any picture. Nate and Rhonda put their hearts and souls into making their properties feel like a home away from home. Every detail is lovingly covered. After only a week, we consider Nate and Rhonda part of our extended family and look forward to our next visit! I know you will enjoy your visit as much as we did! I have just spent 4 weeks in uncle petes cabin Rockhaven and i can honestly say that you cant go wrong..the accomodation is beautiful the scenery wonderful and the whole time i spent there was extremely peaceful and relaxing..i will definately be back there as soon as time allows..would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for that special time away...truly a holiday to look forward to ...convenience of shopping cetres nearby without the hussle and bustle of traffic and city living around you... To the owners of this wonderful holiday cabin i would just say thank you for providing such clean and well established cabin in which to holiday..the ammenties where first class and everything you could need to make this the perfect place to stay was provided...again would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone Dear Rhonda & Nate, We cannot begin tell you how much we appreciate your hard work and dedication to providing such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay while visiting the Nashville area. We woke up the first morning of our stay and commented on the best night's sleep we'd had in a long time. That is the most comfortable bed we've slept on! We want to know how you made it that way? :) It's evident that you have an eye for detail and perfection in your work. Your hospitality and warmth comes through in all the special touches you've added to the cottages and the property. Thank you for allowing us to be your guests, it was such a great week and the surround area of Mt. Juliet was so nice with lots of shops and restaurants...we also liked the fact that the cabin was only 25 minutes to Nashville. We are already planning our next trip! We prefer vacation homes rather than hotels and when we found Uncle Pete's Cabin the first word out of our mouths was, "WOW" this place is beautiful! From the grounds to the smallest of details inside the cabin everything is so well maintained. We loved sitting on the front porch rockers and relaxing and watching the horses graze across the fence. There's always a cool breeze and the fountain and pond was so nice. We give this place the highest of ratings in all our travels and plan to come back again very soon. Rhonda & Nate (the owners) are so helpful and accommodating. We definitely recommend this wonderful farm to anyone and everyone! Joy & Gene Potter My husband and I wanted to find a romantic, private place to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary...we found Rockhaven! It was amazing to find such a delightful place that was everything the website said it was and then some! It was so fresh and clean and the decor was lovely. I want Rhonda to come home with me and decorate my house! :) We stayed a week and it went by way too fast. At first we were going to spend a lot of time in Nashville but we enjoyed the cottage so much that we ended up staying there most of the time. We plan to come back next year to enjoy this little piece of heaven. I would recommend this place to everyone! Erica & Tom Pearson Denver, Colorado We rented The Magnolia Cottage in 2004 and were so impressed with the inside and outside cleanliness of this place, it is immaculate! The cottage looks like a doll house and is so cozy and private. We stayed 3 nights and didn't want to leave. We came back after they added Uncle Pete's Cabin...once again we were blown away...so quaint and beautifully decorated. The owners, Nate & Rhonda Powell have done all of this themselves. Rhonda is a kitchen and bath designer who came up with the plans for the cottages and Nate is a retired builder who has built everything on this gorgeous palce!
