Ivy's Point: Rustic, Secluded Cabin
If you want time alone then come to enjoy the private, wooded setting that this cabin has to offer. You can walk through the woods and explore the 7 acres of nature. Two back decks with table and chairs offer a view of the property including the natural pond. The deer have been known to walk through the grounds and the birds flutter around the cabin while you cook dinner on the charcoal grill.
The front entrance walks you into the front living room with couch and 2 recliners for a quite evening by the stone fireplace reading a book or sipping a glass of wine. A TV w/DVD/Video sits on a wood cabinet. The fully equipped kitchen is to the right with dining room table and chairs for 6. Full Refrigerator, Stove/Oven, and Dishwasher. A highchair and crib are also on-site.
Large family room (in the back of the house) has a sectional sofa, coffee table, and TV cabinet with Cable television. An Air Hockey table for the competitive guests! How about Dvd and Video for your entertainment or a stereo system for a night dancing on the decks?
The master bedroom has a four-poster king size bed that is sure to give you a good nights rest. A sitting room in this bedroom has a small loveseat and television; plus its own patio door leading out to the main back deck.
Bedroom 2 has a double bed, dresser, and small TV and is located off the family room.
Bedroom 3 has a double bed and is located off the family room.
There is a full bath (shower) off the family room.

This home needs some significant repair work before renting to anyone again. We rented it for the weekend and had a lot of issues. We saw several bugs, one of which was in a bed. Broken headboard on a bed, sofabed broken. We were promised a refund and still have yet to even get a return call. Worst rental experience I ever had.

My exetended family and I all came from different parts of the country to have Christmas together here at this "luxurious" cabin. First of all, in response to the previous entry, the pond is dirty because the laundry machine and who knows what else is dumped into it via a lovely black hose that goes all the way from the house to the pond- vey classy! Second, the so-called nature trails were lost in the vegetaion due to negligent landscaping (complete with X-mas lights from no-telling-how-many-years-ago still hanging on an outdoor deck railing...why bother to actually take them down when you can just cut off the plug end and leave them hanging there useless forever? Inside there was such a thick coating of scum on the fan blades that we cleaned the ones we could reach ourselves. (We could have used the classy utility ladder that was stored, where else? On the front porch right by the front door!) Tons more things made our stay miserable. Stay here to experience life low class.

The house is beautiful with just enough space. The only thing that was negative, was the pond needed to be cleaned. Overall, I'd love to come back Thanks

The accommodations suited our needs perfectly for a large group (10 total). The cabin was secluded for privacy, but close to Nashville for shows, shopping, etc. Unfortunately, our father fell in the cabin the day before we left and was in emergency most of the night. Since our return home, he has had to undergo surgery for multiple fractures in his lower spine and is now recuperating. He has graduated from a walker to a cane and has started gaining weight again (he lost 30 pounds during his ordeal). Dad is 94 years old, so you can see our concern. Stevie felt very badly about the incident and was genuinely concerned about Dad's welfare. I would feel very comfortable renting from her again in the future.

The cabin is all it says, It was all new inside, The beach is mad made but the sand is beautiful, you really can do what you like you are totally secluded. I will go back for sure. The owner was very helpful. I am thinking of having our family reunion there.. Great place
Best vacation home I have stayed at, I was so impressed, I was the first one in this cabin and I will go back. The master bedroom is stunning, and the scenery. Thank you, I look forward to returning. Robin ORR
Value for money, clean comfortable I had my birthday party there in July, the DJ was great, catering was good and the prices were affordable. I am going to book it again next year. James E.
