Description of the Nashville vacation cottage rental
This cozy "Cottage in the Country" Is nestled in the beautiful hills of Kingston Springs. It has hardwood floors, a gorgeous renovated bathroom, and 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything has been freshly painted (2010) and there is a large kitchen with all BRAND NEW APPLIANCES. A living room with fireplace and Direct TV offered in the living room. This property is located on a 50 acre property. It is quiet and picturesque. There is a wonderful gazebo out the back door with the most amazing views of the sunset !(Bring your camera), and a 3 car carport. Our horses will greet you (from the other side of the fence) and you'll probably see some goats grazing in the rolling countryside. Our friendly lab can visit you as well (That's up to you) If you would like your refrigerator stocked upon arrival, we can do that for a $30 charge. Owner is available to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Area Information
Come enjoy "The Cottage in the Country" located on a two lane country road in the hills of Kingston Springs, Tn. This is perfect for vacationers as well as the business community. We are only 10 miles outside of Nashville and about a 10 minute hop onto Interstate 40. Feel like you are away from everything, yet can get to everything quickly. This wonderful property is located on the Harpeth River and a little over a mile to Narrows of the Harpeth State Park, 2 miles from several canoe rentals and the 2nd largest and oldest Native American Mounds in the country, and about 5 miles from the charming town of Kingston Springs, where you will find a great coffee shop (The Red Tree),wonderful park and a restaurant (Mac and Kates) that brings even the most well known celebrities from Nashville. Grocery and Liquor stores are under 10 minutes away. If you want to enjoy downtown Nashville or have business on Music Row, we are only 30 minutes away. Historic Bellemeade Mansion and the beautiful Cheekwood Gardens are an easy 25 minute drive, as is fantastic shopping at the well known Green Hills Mall.

The park in Kingston Springs is a great place for everyone. There is a great walking trail, playground with splashpad, fishing, soccer field and more. The best catfish and barbecue (we mean it!) are within about 10 minutes. There are adorable shops in the historic downtown of Dickson, as well as Miss Mables Tea Room. There is the Cumberland Science Museum and the Frist Art Center in Nashville. If you enjoy the CMA Music Festival, but want to wake up in the beautiful countryside of Nashville , this is the place.
