Relaxing Stay

We came last week with a group of girls for a weekend get away in Nashville. The house was beautiful and very spacious. We had plenty of room in the house and space outside to explore and walk around. The girls all loved feeding the ducks and walking around by the pond. The kitchen was very spacious and had everything we needed to accommodate our meals. Each girl kept talking about how beautiful the house was and couldn't believe I'd found one "so nice". The hosts were extremely welcoming and very helpful. We will definitely be returning.

I rented the house with five other people and there was more than enough room in the house to feel very comfortable. This location is well nested on a 7 acre piece of land . If you walked near the back end, there was a huge area to make a big camp fire. (We would have made one but it rained a lot while we were there). The house is very cozy and spacious. The distant from Nashville was perfect. Lots of shopping in Mt. Juliet. Overall, great views, great house, and great neighbors...LOL we had ducks welcome us every time we turned from Nashville. So cute.!!! The amenities were great. We had everything we needed. I will consider this location for my next vacation and highly recommend this locations for your home away from home vacation.

Well, I'm impressed. For the property itself, we kept commenting on how nice the house interior, decorations, and appliances were to be a rental property. We must've mentioned 10 times about the number of towels stocked! (nice touch) For the location, it was completely rural feeling to just be a few miles from abundance of activity. The ducks became friends :) For the owners, they were very welcoming, and quick/helpful on any questions we had even during our stay. They felt like friends from the first hello. An absolutely wonderful lodging experience to make the trip complete!

As soon as we pulled into the property we knew our vacation was going to be great. We were met by Michelle & her son and they showed us the house & the ducks that we could feed. Michelle took us through the house and showed us around & said if we needed anything that they were just a phone call away. We would defiantly come back to stay here. The drive into town was quick & it was nice to be able to come "home" after a day of sight seeing & being able to just chill out and relax. Thank you for letting us experience such a fine home.

From the moment we initially contacted Stephen and Michele, they were very pleasant on the phone.. We got there on a Thursday afternoon and the place was impecable... beautiful.. through out our entire stay, it was very confortable and cozy.. The Rustic Ranch was amazing! Beautifully decorated, SPACIOUS (a lot more room inside than you expect), fully equipped, comfortable furnishings, everything you could ask for and more. The location is perfect if you want the best of both worlds -- a truly relaxing, country vacation, with the FUN of Nashville only minutes away. The property is beautiful, rolling hills, pond, bonfire (although we got rained out and didn't get our bonfire, that's just another reason to return :-) Michele was sweet as could be and their boys were adorable; they showed us the 37 duck eggs by the pond, introduced us to the ducks, showed us around the property... made us feel right at home. And all the conveniences you need are right around the corner (you're literally five minutes from shopping, restaurants, grocery, etc). My only regret is I wish we could have stayed longer - we didn't want to leave! THANKS to Michele and Stephen for sharing their beautiful Rustic Ranch! We can't wait to plan our next Nashville vacation... and invite friends to join us (cause there's plenty of room).

Sister Reunion

My sisters and I reunited at Rustic Ranch. Our get together was enhanced by our accommodations. Michele was super sweet and very flexible with our arrival time. (Thanks Michele!) The house easily handled our party of 9. Two of the three bedrooms were quite large and an air mattress would have fit if needed. The beds were SOOOO comfy. Having a little one with me, I didn't sleep much, but the time spent in bed was super cozy... The kitchen was fully equipped and we were able to prepare several meals there. My boys loved playing at the pond and looking at the duck eggs that were laid there. We also grilled and enjoyed the fire pit. Just an all around great experience, enhanced by our surroundings. Big Thanks to Michele and Stephen for your hospitality!

Great College Reunion/Golf Trip

Rustic Ranch is a beautiful home that my 4 college buddies and me were able to enjoy over an awesome weekend in September. Michele and Stephen were very easy to work with and provided a top-notch, modern home located on beautiful grounds. We spent the three days there playing at Hermitage Golf Club, a wonderful course less than 15 minutes away, and entertaining ourselves in Nashville, only 20 minutes way. When we look for another reunion site, we will definitely be considering Rustic Ranch again. Thank you Michele and Stephen.

Fantastic Retreat

Your place was the perfect setting to get together with my best friend and her two sons and enjoy some relaxing catch up time together. The weather was perfect and we were able to eat all our meals out on the patio. We enjoyed the whole property, it was great for the kids to run and play. We had great evening time in the big family room. We went into Nashville each day and enjoyed the different sites to see there and also went to the Grand Ole Opry. This is a great country setting to stay at but still be close to Nashville and all the things to do in the city.

I stayed here with 5 others (a girls' weekend away) and it was PERFECT. Plenty of space and a very beautiful, serene setting. The patio was perfect and because it's slightly more isolated you don't have to feel like you have to be quiet or sensor yourself too much. We absolutely loved this place and if we come back to Nashville this will be where we stay again!

Having family spread all over the midwest, we needed a central location for our family vacation retreat. We needed adequate space and peaceful surroundings. With the Rustic Ranch Home we got that and so much more! We spent every possible minute we could outside--having bonfires, relaxing on the patio, enjoying the paddle boat, catching fireflies, and watching the kids make memories. Inside the house there was so much room that everyone felt like they had their own space when quiet time was needed. We felt very lucky to spend time at this beautiful location. Everything was perfect!

We recently stayed at the Rustic Ranch for our son's graduation. Let me tell you what a wonderful and calming place it was after spending our days occupied with graduation events. Michele and Stephan could not have been more accomodating if they tried. They greeted me and eased my mind with my questions and concerns. The home was spotless and very comfortable for my parents, my husband and myself, and my daughter and her husband. This property was more than we ever could have imagined. The location was perfect, short drive to airport, five minutes from the golf course we played, and downtown broadway wasn't a very long cab ride either. The inside is spacious and decorated perfectly for hanging around with good friends. The yard is enormous and has a small pond for paddle boating, enough room to play bags, football, etc. and there was even a nice fire built for us in the firepit out back. I would definitely recommend whether you're getting away with family or friends...I will stay again:)

The cabin/house is HUGE and very clean. The decor is very inviting, yet relaxing. My best friend's family plan on using this cabin again when they return to visit family in Bristol,TN. We rented the cabin to be able to celebrate Halloween together and attend the Titans game. A huge mall was only 5 minutes away. The stadium was very easy to get to, only about 15 minutes and downtown Nashville was only 20 minutes away. I am so glad we chose this cabin. Michele was extremely nice and helpful from the time of my first inquiry to promptly returning my deposit. The entire experience was perfect. THANKS!!!

What a fabulous time we had in Mnt Juliet at the Rustic Ranch! The setting was beautiful! The house was great! VERY clean and plenty of room for our 5 guests. Loved our morning coffee out on the porch! Stephen and Michele were SO helpful and friendly, Stephen even came over to help us with TV remotes. Very above and beyond service. Mnt Juliet has everything you need,and Nashville is only 20 minutes and the airport only 10-15. Thanks for a perfect relaxing stay!

My family celebrated my brother's 30th birthday at this 'peaceful' rustic ranch. Awesome property and great location - very close to everything you could possibly need, shopping, medical care,etc. The property is beautiful and serene. The house is very clean and spacious. Beautiful home on very large and well maintained yard. The home was spotless and in excellent condition. More than enough room for 6 adults and one toddler. The yard was huge and in fantastic condition. The owners helped us set up a campfire to enjoy at night and gave us recommendations on what activities to do during the day. I definitely recommend this home and would attempt to stay there again if I return to Nashville because of the wonderful home and hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay! The house is beautiful and spacious both inside and out. It has a relaxing country feel on a very quiet road, but contains all the modern amenities. It's conveniently located near restaurants, or stores if you want to cook or need to pick up necessities you may have forgotten to pack. All are in a newly developed area in Mt. Juliet. This place is ideal for family gatherings, or just a quiet weekend getaway. We'll definitely stay again when traveling to Nashville.

We were two families touring the USA for our summer holidays and wanted to stay for some days in a house instead of the usual hotel rooms... We loved our days in Tennessee, the house was exactly what we were looking for when we were organizing our vacation from Italy. Michelle and Stephen were very kind and the house was big and equipped with anything we could need for our stay. Moreover the location was perfect, with plenty of land around and within a short drive from Nashville. Everybody of us was feeling "at home" and still today back in Italy we call it "our wonderful house in Tennessee".

This was a wonderful house. Our kids really enjoyed the paddleboat on the pond. They had lots of room to run around and play. The house was wonderful and had everything we needed. We highly recommend this house. Stephen and Michele were great, they were very friendly and kind.

Perfect for a Family Gathering

We thoroughly enjoyed Michele & Stephen's rustic ranch home and will definitely book this location again. We slept 6 adults and 4 children and it was more than enough space. The rooms, including bathrooms, are spacious, the washer & dryer came in very handy and our kids loved the paddle boat on the pond. We were able to host our family from the Nashville area at this location and had plenty of room for us to eat, play cards and just relax together. We highly recommend this property and thought Michele was extremely helpful. This home is minutes from several restaurants and shopping yet has the feel of being in the country. Do not pass this beautiful property up when searching for a place to stay in the Nashville area!

Week at Rustic Ranch

We had an awesome time at Michele and Stephen's house, Rustic Ranch. The house is spacious, very clean, and comfortable. Although it was a warm week though, we spent most of our time on the back patio, grilling, relaxing, and enjoying the large property. Our dogs also loved exploring the property, you can even get a view of the mountains from the top of the hill. It's a great location for visiting Nashville and the surrounding areas, but a peaceful place to return to at the end of the day. Hope we can return someday! Michelle and David

This house is well worth the money. They have truly made this place a retreat. The environment is so relaxing. We had one of the best weekends ever! I anticipate our staying at this place will become an annual event. The location is amazing. The property is very private but the location is within 2 miles of restaurants, shopping, and the lake. Wonderful Nashville location

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed seeing Nashville from this location. You have the feeling of being in the country, but everything you could want is a short drive away. The city of Nashville is an easy commute. The house is just minutes from I-40, so you have great access to sight-seeing in the entire Nashville area. The house is really nicely renovated--the pictures don't do it justice. Michelle and Stephen are really wonderful hosts who go out of their way to help you enjoy your vacation. They are very willing to help you find good places to eat and things to do. They keep the house and yard in wonderful condition. They had already filled the firepit on the hill and had more wood ready. We really enjoyed the our bonfire the last evening--the lights of Nashville are visible in the distance. The house is only minutes from the lake. The access area is easy to get to and has great views. We would not hesitate to stay here if we get the chance to visit Nashville again.

Review: We needed space to spread out and enjoy family gatherings while we were in Nashville for our son's wedding. This was absolutley the perfect choice! We were pleasantly surprised with the size, layout, decorating, etc. The bathrooms are large and the kitchen is perfect. The location is great, we were able to get to everything in just minutes. The laundry room is huge and the washer/dryer are pretty new and work very well, it was very convienent to be able to do laundry and not have to pack dirty clothes home. We are so glad that we decided to rent this home instead of staying in a hotel, we have so many memories that were made possible by staying here!

The location and property were wonderful, the location was close to the interstate, and the airport, not far from a large shopping center, and if you needed anything, Michele and Stephen were near by. Inside was perfect, plenty of room, and stocked with anything that you would possibly need. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the kitchen was large and room for many, which was good as that is where we usually end up. And most importantly, a good time was had by all!!

First I want to say the owners are the most gracious and hospitable people I have ever met. They made it easy to rent the house. The house was impeccable. We were very impressed with the interior design. The outside property is a delight. Plenty of space inside and outside. There is never a need to stay in a hotel/motel in Nashville ever again. It is convenient to get to anywhere. Close to the interstate but far enough away you feel solitude. Close to the airport. Within a few miles you have every amenity (I mean every) you could ever need. So if you want to shop, eat out, grab a few things you forgot it's within a minute away. I would highly recommend staying in this house. The house and hosts make it feel like you are right at home.

6 of us went up for the Garth Brooks show in Nashville and we rented this house so we could all be together. This house was Great.. Has 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Everything in this house was great but 1 thing "we all wished there was a TV in each bedroom" But over all we would all stay there again...

My family was in town for thanksgiving and we needed extra space for them. This vacation rental was wonderful. The house is very comfortable and has a lot of thoughtful details. It looks like it has been completely remodeled. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen is nice and has a table in it to gather around. Dining room and living room are combined into a great room that is a perfect space for a large group to visit in. There is also a den with large flat screen TV that gets cable (great for sticking the guys in for their football game). The property is beautiful, and the fire pit was great. The property owner even came and cut up wood for us to have a fire. The owners were very helpful throughout the stay and even made the house availble for me to see before I decided to rent it. Definately a great exerpience. I would highly recommend it.

A lovely family gathering space

What a wonderful space to have a family gatherine! Our family stayed here for the weekend and had a great time. The kitchen was large, so we were able to do lots of cooking (and eating!) there. The highlight of our stay there was the bonfires we had out back at the huge fire pit. There was plenty of firewood and the Hudsons wasted no time in getting us set up out back with the fires. Overall, the house was beautiful, newly re-modeled, large and provided ample space for our large family. The porch in the back was a great gathering area as well. The Hudsons were great hosts in making us comfortable and welcome! We hope to be back soon for another family gathering.

The rental home was beautiful. We loved the spacious interior and decoration. We spent time with our friends from Senoia, GA and they were so happy with the environment. This home worked great for our sailboat crew of 7. We were attending a regatta on Percy Priest Lake. The home is huge and well appointed. Excellent bedroom and bath accommodations. Each of the large rooms is very well decorated and exceptionally clean and comfortable. The 7 acre lot and pond make a serene setting for the home's covered patio. I could recommend this home without reservation. The owners are hospitable and helpful. We will be coming back next year.

We were meeting some friends in Nashville for a long weekend and wanted to be togehter. Not with adjoining rooms or down the hall. We wanted to cook and relax and let our kids bond. Well we found the place and we will only hope that the next time we want to stay there it is available. The house is the perfect arrangement for co habitating with friends. Spacious with large rooms and huge bathrooms. A nicely appointed kitchen. We cooked up some great food and even better memories. They even had charcoal for the grill! A good time was had by us all. I want to tell everone I know about this place, while on the other hand I would like it to be my best kept secret. The owners are great and they really aim to please. I wish them great success.

We rented this home in August 2010. Our family was in Nashville for my son’s graduation from NADC. There were 8 of us and we had plenty of room. All of the rooms were spacious and decorated beautifully. This home was a much better alternative for us than hotel rooms. Friday evening we all sat outside on the patio to talk and my husband and I enjoyed our Saturday morning coffee outside. Michele was great to work with and followed up promptly when I called or e-mailed her to finalize the arrangements. If we make it back to Nashville and in need of accommodations I will definitely contact Michele. Also, I would not hesitate to refer her to anyone I know who may be travelling to Nashville and in need of the perfect place to stay. Thanks Michele and Stephen for a wonderful experience. Patty B
