Randall’s home features two warm and inviting bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with both a dining area and a breakfast area. There is a den with cable television. The home is a modified 1950's style home that has a more open floor plan which is perfect for family socializing and dining.
One of my favorite Nashville spots is Randor lake. The home is less than one mile from this wonderful nature preserve where you can take a morning stroll around a small lake and enjoy the rolling foothills of the Smokies with lots of trees and wildlife. I see deer and wild turkeys nearly every visit. If you are a very early bird, you might be lucky enough to catch a view of their active beaver den. Come stay, relax, and explore.

Tim's home was truly the perfect place for our long weekend in Nashville. It was comfortable, spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. There was more than enough room for 4 of us to stay here very comfortably, with 3 big bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Tim keeps the place well stocked with everything you could possibly need to feel at home- from a sampling of local craft beers, to coffee, ipod docks, and toiletries. The location was perfect for exploring Nashville and the surrounding area - close to downtown for checking out the honky tonk nightlife scene, as well as the historic town of Franklin, Opryland, and Belle Meade Plantation. Tim went above and beyond as a host - very communicative and helpful with tips for things to do and see in the area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend his home if you're visiting Nashville. Thanks again for everything, Tim!
We stayed at Tim's home for a week while my husband was working in Nashville. This home and Tim were wonderful! We are regular travelers of the southeast and have rented everything from homes to hotels and all in between and this by far has been our best renting experience. This was my first time on AirBnB so I was very unfamiliar with the process, Tim was great to work with, he responded to my million questions within minutes and made the process so simple. Once we got to the home it was so warm and inviting! He even left us treats! The "taste of Nashville" was fun, we enjoyed the coffee and the kids enjoyed the oranges! This home is so interesting, there are beautiful oil paintings and photography all throughout ohh and AMAZING custom made tables in the dining and living areas along with other wonderful pieces in various rooms! The floor plan layout was perfect for us. I found the home to be very peaceful, at first I was a little bummed about not having TV in the bedrooms, but I LOVED it! I need to do this in my own home, it really helped me to take time to relax, read, and just have quiet time-something I never do at home! At night after the kids were asleep and the hubbs was working I actually felt like I was on vacation, it was wonderful! The location of the home could not be more perfect! There literally isn't anything that this home is not convienent to. It was about 5 miles from downtown, 3 miles to a target, 3 miles to other shopping areas, there is a great mall within a few miles, public library and churches just a few miles, nice public park with a few miles, great hiking area at a state park just 2 miles. . . like I said perfect! Even though the home is surrounded by convience you would never know it! It is in an area that is nice and quiet and SAFE with little traffic, when I first arrived my assumption was it would probably take me 20 mins or so to get anywhere. Not the case! I would recommed this rental to anyone, great for families with kids (surrounded by entertainment), great for a couples getaway(peaceful, quiet location), great for girls/guys weekends (few miles from downtown) really I don't think anyone would be disapointed. a few things we did that I would recommend to others are: The Loveless cafe, about 20 mins away but great experience and wonderful food! Great mimosas too! The Rainforest cafe at Opry Mills Mall, such a cool experience for kids, I have never seen one of the before and am so glad we went. Boot Country on broadway, buy 1 pair get 2 free! We got 3 great pair of cowboy boots for the price of 1! Just a few of my favorites from our trip. Thank you Tim for giving us such a great...
In choosing a house for a college reunion weekend I noted the glowing reviews Tim had received from previous guests. Seeing is believing. Tim's house is located a short distance from the hustle and bustle of some of Nashville's downtown sights. It is easy access to these locations as well as the airport and other sights (Hermitage, Loveless Cafe, Belle Mead etc). His house is beautifully decorated, spotless, and a quiet haven. It allowed all 7 of us to be comfortable, eat in if we wanted to, have coffee on the patio or around the pool in good weather. Radnor Park is close by and a wonderful place to hike. As a host I have seldom encountered anyone as receptive and gracious as Tim. He was attentive yet not intrusive. The house has everything you'd need for a pleasant comfortable stay. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone visiting Nashville. I could go on but sometimes brevity is a virtue. Five star reviews may be hard to believe, but in this case---- believe!
We had a great time! The house fit all 6 of us comfortably and I'm so glad we stayed here instead of a hotel. We had all we needed in the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms and it made the stay that much easier. We wish it had been summer so we could have enjoyed the pool, so we will just have to make an excuse to come back and take advantage of the backyard. Having a key-less entry was also very convenient, because we didn't have to worry about losing a key or passing it around all 6 of us. Highly recommend the main house!
As newcomers to Nashville, Tim was not only an excellent host but a fantastic resource for things to do while in the city! It was clear that he put a lot of effort into assembling a guide of places to visit, as well as spending time talking to our group about his personal favorites. But I was probably most struck by the property itself; the pictures almost do not do it justice! We arrived to find an immaculately clean and expertly decorated house with original artwork and unique touches in every room. All in all, Tim was a top notch host that I would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Nashville area!
My family and I stayed at Tim's for the Christmas holidays and had a wonderful stay. The home is beautiful and comfortable and there was plenty of room for five adults and one child. Every room was very, very clean and we did not lack for any supplies. Also the location of the house is amazing: it's a beautiful and quiet neighborhood while being very convenient to all the great neighborhoods in Nashville. Parking can be a little challenge if all the units are full and you have more than one vehicle, but it was easy to work out. Tim is a great host and took plenty of time to show us the home during our check-in. We may have to come back during the summer so we can use the beautiful backyard with a pool!
Very comfortable home with lots of artwork and personal touches.
A great place to stay in Nashville. Very comfortable home with a nice kitchen (Thanksgiving went off without a hitch). It's close to downtown but still in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to the city as well as Franklin and other surrounding attractions. In addition Tim was a wonderful host. We will definitely stay here when we are in Nashville again.
What can I say...wonderful, comfortable, relaxing! I was worried we would be too far from downtown Nashville, but it was the perfect distance. Super quiet neighborhood, great for biking...plenty of room and places to unwind inside. We stayed in one night and made dinner and enjoyed it on Tim's artful dining room table. We discovered our inner voice in Tim's music room over cold Tennessee whiskey. I would absolutely come back to stay! Great value! Stephen
This was a fantastic experience. Tim is a great guy, he left us some local coffee and beverages upon arrival which was very cool, and the house is beautiful. It's in a very safe, nice neighborhood within minutes of downtown, and also close to some cooler off-the-grid places like the Radnor Lake State Natural Area, which is a beautiful place to get out into the woods and away from the city for a while. Altogether, this was a great time in a great spot. We would definitely book this house again -- hopefully in a warmer season so we can take better advantage of the pool and deck out back! Thanks again, Tim.
After having spoken to Tim via email and looking through the online description we decided to take a chance and travel on a family vacation from England. It was a great decision! The house was a perfect base for us to use to explore Nashville and Franklin. Tim met us at the house, showed as around and gave us a description of where all the local shops were and what attractions to go see. The house was really welcoming and very well equipped. It was exactly what we needed to find after 16 hours of travelling from the UK. The free wifi meant we could plan our days and easily stay in touch with our family in the UK. On a couple of occasions we just stayed very local to the house and made use of the gardens. Our kids (4 and 7 years old) loved it, especially the tree house. The bedrooms were lovely and there was more than enough space for me to hide in another room and get some work done when I had to. The kitchen was a great space and we cooked and ate at the house on most nights. The use of the washer and dryer with small kids was great as well. I would definitely recommend this to any family. A home from home. Thanks Tim, James, Caroline and Family.
The house was beautiful. The neighborhood was quiet and felt really safe. It felt like it was out in the country, but the interstate was very accessible and Nashville was just 10-15 minutes away. We were in town for a girls' weekend, and everyone traveled from all around the US (even one from out of the country!). We wanted somewhere where we could all be comfortable yet spend as much time together as possible. The house has several areas where we could congregate - the kitchen easily fit all 5 of us. There are two living spaces, one with comfortable couches and a nice stereo system, and another with plenty of seating, windows, and a piano. There was also a lovely patio that was spacious and beautiful. The house easily slept 5 people, and I think we could have squeezed in one more (but it would have been cozy). Beds were really comfortable and the linens were clean. It was the perfect getaway!
