Description of the Nassau vacation apartment rental

This beautiful apartment is located in a two story house situated on a large property, located on quiet Hampshire Street, only a 3 minute walk from the beach at the edge of the turquoise blue Bahamian sea on Cable Beach in Nassau, Bahamas. The owners Armin and Vernice Wernli, live on the premises.

You can rent the beautiful, spacious, self-contained 2 bedroom apartment in one week units, starting Saturdays.
It is fully air-conditioned, has a modern kitchen with all appliances (with dish washer), a dining area, sitting area with big TV. Cable service, Telephone and wireless broadband Internet are at your disposal free of charge.
The livingspace of the apartment is about 850 sqf.
The weekly rental is USD 1,200.00, inclusive electricity and water.

Upon request, we can arrange for full maid service.

There is a laundry room with washer and dryer at your disposal at no charge.

When you get tired of the beach nearby, you can relax on the patio, dip into the pool and use the grill to cook some steaks for dinner.The amenities are to be used for register guest only.Private parking space is provided only for rental car,there is a $50.00 deposit for the gate remote control. And a $2.00 fee for parking per day.

In walking distance you will find a beautiful sandy beach where you will find all types of water sports, several hotels, casino, straw market, food stores, bakeries, drug stores, liquor stores, restaurants, post office, bus stop and many other conveniences.

The owners offer a pickup service for a $30.00 fee from the airport if arranged well in advance.

We invite you to spend the ultimate vacation with us, next to all the resort experience but in privacy and quiet surroundings. Choose from diving excursions, a quick tennis or golf game, sports fishing and many other activities.

Area Description

The Hamshire Residence is located on 92 Hampshire Street, in the Cable Beach area of Nassau, Bahamas. It is a quite residential neighbourhood, in walking distance of beaches, many hotel resorts, casino, restaurants, shopping, foodstores, post office, night life, sports. The local bus # 10, here called "Jitney" can take you downtown Nassau for $ 2.00 per person/ride. Stand on the side of the street and wave your hand when you see one approaching. They run during daytime only. Scotia Bank is located on West Bay Street, about a 10 minute walk or 2 minute bus/car ride to the east of Hampshire Residence

Vacation Rental Policies

Deposits: 50% of Rental and USD 500.00 security deposit at booking date. Balance rental due 60 days prior to arrival.
Other Fees: For a small fee you can have a pick-up and drop off service, to and from the airport.This fee is $30.00

Great accommodation and trip..., July 17, 2009

This is a great place located near the beach and jitney bus stop. Beach access was just mintues away along with everything else. Grocery stores, take out food, pharmacy, and so on. We had a party of 4 that stayed and it was just like home away from home. We all felt very comfortable. I would definately recommend this apt. to everyone and would absolutely return. Vernice and Armin were a pleasure and was part of what made this trip a great one.

This apt. is a fabulous place, a few minutes walk to Cable Beach. There is a great patio and pool on the property. The owners were helpful and met all of the needs for five adults. The apt. itself is comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen which saved us a bit on the expense of eating out. It was really home away from home!

The location is ideal, accommodation bigger than anticipated and had a very homely feel. The local transport located 2 minutes walk away proved very convenient. We loved the “private” beach located 3 minutes walk away to the right of the Sandals resort. What makes this accommodation special is without a doubt Armin & Vernice’s warm, welcoming personalities and the delicious pastries and cheesecake from their shop. We are very grateful to Armin and Vernice for a fabulous holiday. What a great way of getting the real Bahamian experience! We recommend the accommodation unreservedly and given the opportunity would not hesitate to go back.
