THE COTTAGE IS RIGHT ON THE OCEAN,
1750 sq ft living area,
8200 sq ft PRIVATE OCEANFRONT PROPERTY,
located in the bay at the Eastern Point of the island,
off the main road, in private cul-de-sac, very quiet and secluded,
10 Min by car to Nassau downtown and Paradise Island,
2 Min by car to the food store.
The big Main porch faces East and has unobstructed ocean views!
Sunrises and Full Moons are spectacular!
Don't miss if there is a Full Moon rising over the ocean!!
You have direct access into the ocean for swimming and snorkeling, not deep and safe.
Sunbath and/or relax under palm trees or on the covered porch.
Experience an all day and evening inside-outside living. Look at the ocean, listen to the waves and enjoy the constant ocean breeze.
Barbecue your lunch and dinner and sip on your cocktails in fresh air.
There are 2 beaches close by in 2 Min and 10 Min walking distance.
Along the bay there is a walking path with benches.
You can undertake sightseeing, duty free shopping in town and boat excursions.
Note: the town mostly caters to cruise ship passengers and almost everything is closed after 6 pm.
Wake up and go to sleep with the sound of the ocean.
The Cottage sleeps comfortable 6, but can sleep 10.
The ground floor features 1 bed room with a double bed and 1 bath room/shower. The living room has a double futon. All over the length open living-dining-kitchen with the big porch towards the ocean and the french doors. The kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils, fridge, freezer, ice maker, 4 range gas stove, Hood, dishwasher, Microwave. Washer/Dryer are in a separate corner.
On the 2nd floor there are 2 bed rooms and 1 spacious bathroom with tub/shower. Both bed rooms have one queen size bed and one single bed each as well as big walk in closets.
Ceiling Fans throughout.
The Sunrise Oceanfront Cottage is suitable for families, couples, singles and honeymooners.
It's location is perfect for a social get together as well as seeking quietness.

At the Eastern Point of New Providence, the main island of the Bahamas.
Residential upper class neighborhood
Follow Eastern Road into Yamacraw Hill Road, turn the first left towards the ocean after you pass the Prince Charles Drive T-Junction.
2 and 10 Min walk to beaches.
Paved walking path with benches along the ocean.
1/2 mile, 15 Min walk: Super Value Food store and Bus Stop
1 mile: liquor store, Domino's/Wendy's/Chinese take away, pharmacy, doctor's office, post office
3-4 miles: Restaurants and the local fish market
4 miles: Nassau harbor, Potter's Cay Dock, to Paradise Island connected with a bridge to the Atlantis Hotel and Cabbage Beach. On the Paradise Island side under the bridge there is the boat terminal for most excursions.
6 miles: Nassau downtown, duty free shopping, Bahamian local Straw Market and the cruise ship dock
4 miles: Atlantis Hotel on Paradise Island, Marina Village with restaurants and Atlantis marina, Casino, Aquarium, Water Park and more

Great Place and Friendly Folks

We had a great time at the cottage, we (a group of six friends) just returned. We had a mixture of relaxation and fun. Martina is unbelievably friendly and gracious, always willing to help. We also didn't rent a car, but Martina put is in touch with Mr. Darling who was always willing to drive us where we needed to go (never more than $40). The backyard is where we spent most of our time and it was great. Kitchen is functional to make meals and Martina is always forthcoming with restaurant selections. All in all I would return.

Just what we needed!

My husband, parents in law and I had a great 4 day weekend in Nassau with this cottage as our home base. Martina, the owner, couldnt have been any more helpful or a better hostess. She helped me in the pre-planning stages, sending maps, directions, helpful hints and even locating two catholic churches and mass times for us. The property itself has been well taken care of and is spotlessly clean. It's located in a residental neighborhood, so you will have to drive or take a bus to town to go to restaurants. There is a nice grocery about one mile away. We bought steaks and cooked on the grill one night. All in all, I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this property.

Clean, comfortable, convenient, beautiful and relaxing. This home made all of us a wonderful memory. The house is delicious!
