This well-maintained, spacious and modern villa has a fully brand new fully equipped kitchen and the living and dining are designed with your comfort in mind. This 2-bedroom 1 bathroom villa can easily be converted to a 1 bedroom/1 bathroom unit.

Our centrally located native villa will help you to create your very own vacation memories by enjoying life like a Bahamian while experiencing Nassau. Get away from the crowded hustle and bustle of commercial hotels and relax in a tranquil setting where the tropical winds provide a calming environment.

Your villa is uniquely nestled in a quiet neighborhood yet easily accessible to everything. Open the blinds and watch the dawn of each new day as the sunrise kisses the tropical trees located in the breathtaking Botanical Gardens which is literally in your backyard! Walk 25 steps from your backyard and view the Botanical Gardens 600 species of flowering trees and shrubs. Want a shorter commute to a tropical garden? Then just step outside the front door of the villa and explore within our grounds various plant and flowers. Ready to tour Nassau?

Now, casually stroll 100 steps heading east and you will be in Fort Charlotte. Built by British in 1776, a guided tour of Fort Charlotte features a water-less moat, draw-bridge, underground passages and dungeons which recounts slavery and emancipation in The Bahamas. Alternatively, stroll 100 steps heading south and you can tour Popopstudios Centre for the Visual Arts (formerly Dillet’s Guesthouse).

The public transportation is only a 3 minutes stroll--$1 heading east takes you to the Straw Market, Downtown Nassau or Atlantis/Paradise Island or take a scenic 15 minute walk and you are in the heart of the Town. While in town visit the Queen’s staircase which was carved out of solid limestones by slaves in the late 18th century between 1793 and 1794.

Alternatively, a 7 minutes ride further west of the apartment places you at Cable Beach public 18-hole golf course. Have fun at world renown Cable Beach Strip. There are 3 additional beaches for your absolute pleasure. For the nature lover, just 50 feet from your villa you’ll see the Ardastra Gardens, Zoo and Conservation Center which provides a sanctuary and survival center for over 300 exotic birds, mammals and reptiles. It is famous for being home to the world famous marching pink flamingos.

Ready to feast on Bahamian delicacies? A minute walk takes you to Fish Fry where you will find an array of native restaurants--serving mouthwatering native dishes—cultural music and entertainment.

Afterwards, relax and unwind at the nearby Arawak Cay white sandy beach. Rest, relax, spoil and pamper yourself. Your package includes transfers from the airport, a 30-minute trip to the food store, feel local calls and internet access.

"Excellent location + well-equipped villa = Great

"Our family has used VRBO successfully a few times now and we generally have high expectations. Julie and her network of friends and neighbors were able to exceed our hopes and plans for a great Bahamian stay. The word "close" is an adequate description for virtually anywhere you want to visit on the island. If you feel fit, the wlks are not too far. The local bus transport is excellent and around a buck each time you get off. Taxis were pricy, but not compared to a NYC or Chicago ride for 5 miles. As promised, Julie arranged for airport transportation and a visit to a local market. We were able to but everything we need for breakfasts and snacks at the apartment. There were a few bars and a market around the corner if we forgot anything. And once when it was raining, a neighbor lent us an umbrella and gave aus a ride to the restaurant we desired. The villa has everthing you need and was put to the test by our two teenagers. There was access to three beaches by walking or bus. We even found a secluded private strip up on Cable Beach where it was just our family of four and the ocean. When you go this route, you should expect that you will not be surrounded by the pristine hotel environment and lack of local culture. We love the surprises and challenges that living local can provide. If you think that is cool, you might want to look into this property. When we went, the price was about 1/2 of the fancy hotels. I think we received the better value.

Best Birthday EVER!

First off, Julie I apologize this a yr overdue. However, that's how amazing our stay was that a yr later I would comment of our experience. Julie was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and safe. She arranged transportation from the airport and grocery store and also helped make reservations for a delicious birthday dinner. The surroundings were amazing to experience the REAL Bahamas away from the hotels and tourists but still central to the city. Was walking distance to beaches, restaurants, and nightlife. It became our home away from home. Everything was clean and nicely renovated. Couldn't have imagined a better way to have experienced Nassau and wouldn't have been able to do so without the great apartment and help of Julie. Wonderful Trip

I am writing this as our 10 day vacation winds down. My Father and I stayed for 9 nights at the Vila and I must stress how perfect it was. The place made us feel just as though we were at home. With the fully equipped kitchen, television, air conditioning and big, comfy beds- and of course the near by beach, we had the trip of our lives. Lastly, Julie was amazing. She continuously checked in on us and was very professional and courteous to our needs. Overall, it was a vacation much needed and now I understand why the Villa and the Bahamas come highly recommended.

Perfect Christmas

I cannot say enough good things about our stay here! Julie is fabulous! She even called the villa on Christmas to wish our family a Merry Christmas. The villa itself is very clean and stocked. The cable TV and wireless internet access were very nice as well. More than anything though, we loved how welcomed we were made to feel by the others people living in the complex. It's a great location. The Fish Fry is amazing and the beaches are second to none. Such a glorious holiday and we will definitely be back to stay with Julie!

This 1 or 2 bedroom with 1 bath apartment has an excellent location in Nassau. The kitchen is fully equipped if you feel like cooking or you can take a short walk to the Arawak Cay (The Fish Fry) where you will get the best Bahamian food available on the island. We found the property to be perfectly suited to our needs and the bed was very comfortable. The apartment is furnished and decorated very nicely. It even has granite counter tops in the kitchen and bathroom. Julie is fantastic to deal with and will take very good care of you.

this was definetly the perfect place for my family and i while on vacation in Nassau Bahamas. We had a wonderful time but inspite of that having a very comfortable place to stay at an affortable price made a whole lot of difference. we'll definetly do it all over again. thumbs up!!!
