When I walked onto the property and Andrea and Susan (Managers) greeted me with open arms and smiles across their face, even if the property did not live up to what I had come to expect, I would have loved it just the same. To my total delight, the property surpassed my wildest expectations and I will return year after year. The only drawback is that I fell in love with Sagit Cottage and there is only one!

My first step on the wide porch that wrapped around my cottage made me feel that I have found my home away from home. There is literrally nothing between you and the ocean other than your porch. The cottage was large and very clean. The bathroom was more than adequate for 2 people to share easily. There is a small bar with utensils for a quick snack should you desire. There is also a small refrigerator that remained very cold the entire 5 days of my visit. These cottages are rectangle in shape and each wall has a almost ceiling to floor bank of windows that allows the ocean breeze to cool you throughout the day. I was a little concerned that there was no airconditioning in these units, and my visit to Jamaica was in July. Andrea assured me that the ocean breeze would cool me and it did. In fact, some nights I wrapped a shawl around me while sleeping.

The grounds are mainted perfectly by a wonderful staff that is friendly and greet you daily with a smile. Now, I cannot say enough about the complimentary breakfast that is served each morning on your porch. They have a large menu, but if you should desire something else, the staff will go to the market and purchase it for you. You will be required to buy groceries for those items that you purchase. It was magical sitting on the porch each morning sipping Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee.

I am single and I found Catcha to be safe and a perfect place for me to unwind. It also has the most romantic feeling that would be the perfect place for lovers as well. From my porch, I could see Ricks Cafe and really could listen to the music each night rather than going out. Don't be too concerned with the noise because Ricks closes down around 10pm just in time for those who turn in early.

There is a large kitchen on property that is open at all times if you want to use it. Only breakfast is served on the property. They leave the coffee grounds ready to perk and all you need to do is turn the pot on in the morning. I enjoyed waking up, walking to the kitchen with the resorts dog, fixing my cup of coffee and sitting on the edge of the cliff watching the waves roll in. It was the pefect way to begin each day and end the day as weill with a glass of wine.

Swimming is delightful off the cliff and you can get a good workout fighting the current. The water is colder on the cliffs, therefore it was a wonderful way to cool down in the middle of the day. Be sure to rise early if you want to catch the dolphins swimming past your balcony.

All in all, Catch Falling Star was a magical place for me and I have tried twice since July to book my little cottage without success. So, next time, I will try the other 1br cottage that I am sure I will love just as much.
