This is kin to a five star resort. It is not your average rustic cabin with lumpy beds and ancient furnishings. The two separate cottages allow for space to unwind with five outdoor seating areas overlooking the water. The landscaping and stone work are amazing. The butterfly, rose and herb gardens along with hundreds of outdoor lights create a magical space. We have seen many area homes and this one is very special.

Susan, I just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our stay there. It was so relaxing and you place is absolutely beautiful - the PERFECT part of the river. I would love to come back in the winter and just sit on the deck. Thanks so much, most of our family are beach people but even the most hard core of them said they loved it!! Ann, From Houston
You gasp with delight when you enter the bungalow! Susan designed the interior with vintage, eclectic furnishings. Each chandelier shade is different. A portrait of Marilyn Monroe over a pink marble mantlepiece says it all. The pink beauty parlor chairs are a scream. I don't how she can bear to have people stay there. It is lovely and very, very comfy.

We stayed for a week in July, 05. We had four couples with six kids. The kids used hot dogs and caught tons of catfish and a 15 lb carp! We swam, did Schlitterbahn, BBQ'd on the stone outdoor fireplace and some of the older kids slept on the sleeping porch. It was close to everything but felt like being in the country. We will be back!!!
