Description of the New Braunfels vacation home rental

This mediterranean stucco home is one of the most luxurious homes in the New Braunfels/McQueeney/Seguin area. Perfect honeymoon or anniversary getaway. With over 3900 sq ft of living area, this home features a full range of upgrades. Features include an elevator for easy access, jucuzzi bath tub, built in sub-zero refrigerator, a pool table and more. The home is wrapped with a chain-link fence making it kid friendly. It sits on deep water and includes a boat dock and private pool.

Area Information

Lake Placid is a section of the Guadalupe River. It is a constant level river unaffected by the current drought. We are located on Lake Placid (Guadalupe River) 1 mile from IH10 for those traveling from Houston or San Antonio.

Some of the activities in the area include Schlitterbahn, Seaworld, Fiesta Texas, San Marcos Outlet Mall, San antonio zoo, the Alamo and the San Antonio Riverwalk. There are other activities in the area.

Nice getaway

April 26, 2011

We stayed here Easter weekend. It was a big hit for our family of 12. The fishing and pool were our favorites. A little concerned about A/C not working on the second floor, but it wasn't too uncomfortable. There was plenty of space for the kids (ages 2 through 9) to run around and plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Would stay again.

Large family reunion.

We used this home as a base for our family reunion (26 people). We were pleased with the home and the suroundings. We enjoyed the large area. We had concerns with all the stairs and the toddlers in the family. We set up safety procedures that made them ok. We really enjoyed our time. We wish we had the pool but the hot tub was nice.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It fits plenty of people. The pool was a little dirty upon arrival, but after a quick phone call was promptly cleaned. Don't forget toilet paper and paper towels, b/c not enough is provided, but there are stores nearby (to HEB is ~10min drive) where you can purchase supplies if needed, so it's not a hassle at all. Other than that we had a spectacular trip and would return in a heartbeat. RIGHT on the river, plenty of outdoor space, 2 grills to BBQ on... the ideal vacation home.
