This wonderful waterfront home is located on Lake Placid in the heart of the Seguin/McQueeney area, just 15 miles from New Braunfels and 22 miles from San Antonio. The home is an older home that has been remodeled throughout the inside living quarters (see pictures). It consists of 7 bedrooms and 3 baths and can sleep 28 people in beds. The property resides on a channel within striking distance of the main open lake. Two state record catches were caught within 100 yards of this property. This house offers the lowest rate of any 5 bedroom waterfront home in the New Braunfels area equipped with a private swimming pool.

The house can easily be combined with the neighboring house (Country Home) to provide 12 bedrooms and 6.5 baths. Each house has a small private in-ground swimming pools and exceeds 4000 sq ft. of living space. The combined living space exceeds 8000 sq ft. The homes are fully furnished and include a full range of appliances and linens.

Main House & Cottage Recommendation

June 29, 2011

Pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the main house, the large covered patio and the closeness to the water. The raised deck above the boat house was most enjoyable with its' cool breezes, water craft watching & tranquility, as was also ideal for night time star gazing, great conversation and great listening music. The only correctable negatives were the cottage with no extra sheets/pillows for the futton bed, a small non working refrigerator and the upstairs main house bathroom with its' partial plumbing non working shower head. None of which took away from the enjoyment of this great home and cottage. We left with a high feeling for recommendation.

very good house

The house was not my initial first choice because I wanted a house on the river. However, I was very nicely surprised at the quality of the house and the vast land. The house was in good condition and had everything and more that it promised. The only discrepancy was the broken tv in the game room and missing ping pong table. These are small things however it would've been nice to know ahead of time. I would recommend this house to anyone especially a large group of kids.
