The perfect spot to do absolutely nothing, or as a base to visit nearby PEI, Cape Breton and Pictou, the "birthplace of New Scotland". Area Description
Steps lead down to one of Nova Scotia's lovliest beaches, Melmerby, located in a Provincial Park. Acres of trees and tranquility surround you. Views and vistas remain virtually untouched since time began.
Nearby, the town of New Glasgow, provides supermarkets, supplies and restaurants. Twent-five mintues away is the town of Pictou, where the ferry to Prince Edward Island can be found.
Two hours by car to the north are the famous highlands of Cape Breton.
