Cozy cabin/cottage on 4 wooded acres on Massanutten mountain range near New Market Virginia.

This isn't your average rental cabin. It's my private, 2 bedroom cabin that I rent out when I myself am not there! As a guest, you will feel like you are at 'your own private getaway' and not just a visitor. This private and secluded cabin rental is tucked away on over three acres of gorgeous wooded mountainside just eight minutes from I-81 at New Market, Va. in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley. "Private and Secluded," yes, but only from people, 'cause the birds, deer, raccoons, and chipmunks will be looking in on you frequently.

Although IDEAL for a "Lover's Retreat," the cabin can accommodate up to 6 people and boasts a great fireplace with loads of cut firewood, air-conditioning (although, you won't need it), a super-equipped kitchen (utensils, pots & pans, paper products and, a microwave), and a gigantic screened-in porch, as well as a sundeck. You'll have a TV & VCR with lots of movies, all sorts of board and backyard games, and, of course, a charcoal grill. All the necessary linens are supplied. Just pack the charcoal, food, snacks and drinks!

The New Market area is rich in history, lots of battlefields, antique shops, hiking, shopping, caverns.
Not far from George Washington National Forest, Shenandoah National Forest, Skyline Drive.
