Description of the New Milford vacation home rental

SUMMER RENTAL

LITCHFIELD COUNTY, New Milford,

CONNECTICUT
Beautiful , very private country setting; four bedrooms, large family room with cathedral ceilings; grand piano. All amenities:cable TV, CD, DVD,VCR, internet. All rooms are with AC. Deck by the house with screen house and gas grill. We also have charcoal grill; 20x40 inground pool with
furnished pool house with bathroom and kitchen,AC, refrigerator,shower, microwave and even a bed to lay and rest. There is also another screen house by the pool. Pool is gated. There is a safe space for kids to play and run around. The house is away from the street traffic. There are four large lakes nearby, river, hiking, boating, horse back ridding, tennis, bowling,golfing,
shopping, also every Sunday the biggest flea market in CT "Elephant's Trunk", playground with children activities, restaurants and movie theater. The property is less than 90 min. from Manhattan. We have beautiful wild birds.
Weekly-$1,800.

Amazing!

This was truly an amazing vacation for all my family. This house is great and very relaxing. Its also very private and a perfect place for one just to be with your family. Even when it rains one can still have a wonderful time in this house. The pool was the place we mostly spend our time in. We had a great and amazing vacation. The owners Charles Kellis and his wife Margaret were very nice and friendly. I thank them very much for the opportunity they gave us of staying in their house. I hope to see them again next summer!

Great home and great communication with landlord

My family of 6 (parents, husband, two young kids and I) stayed in mid-June 2011. The setting of this property is indeed private and is surrounded by woods of deciduous trees. The house was very clean when we arrived and all appliances/amenities were up to par. The kids really enjoyed the inground swimming pool, even if the weather wasn't cooperating. The landlord was very quick to respond to any email/call I made prior to the rental and also left multiple phone numbers at which to reach him. The location of the home in New Milford was good, as well. I'd spoken with a relative from the area who said New Milford is known as a quiet area, which was what we were after. The town was easy to navigate and had a very nice downtown area with parks and restaurants. Overall, I'd say it was a great experience and would love to come back to CT soon.
