Description of the New Orleans vacation apartment rental

A must see- 2 br +bonus room fully furnished upstairs apartment is located on the S. Carrollton Ave. streetcar line. The apt. has very large rooms that create a comfortable setting. The wrought Iron fence and gate for added security ,as well as wrought iron doors is a plus. A side sitting area with beautiful plants allows guests the view of passing streetcars. S. Carrollton Ave is lined with stately oaks.

Area Information

This Carrollton neighborhood is filled with activity. Many people use the neutral ground ( where the streetcar runs throughtout the day and night) to jog or walk.The streetcar is right out your front door that can take you all the way downtown and the French Quarter. South Carrollton Ave. is intersercted by Oak Street. This is home to the nightlife of music clubs , restaurants and shopping. The Audubon Zoo, Audubon Park and golf course, Loyola and Tulane Universities are just right around the bend that turns into St. Charles Ave.

An Excellent New Orleans Get-Away Experience

For ambience, relaxation, and great location with easy access to all things "New Orleans", Ms. Linda's uptown apartment is the only place for me! With such a charmingly spacious and well-appointed interior, Southern hospitality abounds! The lush garden grounds are gated for security and the streetcar view is truly unique and oh so relaxing! A great value considering all the amenities! I've had the pleasure of staying there numerous times over the years and it always exceeds my expectations! Do yourself a favor and give Ms. Linda a call! Stay there on your next New Orleans get-away and you may not want to leave!

Great Jazz Fest Memories

January 27, 2013

We were so lucky to have found this wonderful hideaway in the middle of New Orleans and stay there during Jazz Festival week. It was within walking distance of great restaurants and music clubs, but we could also catch the streetcar right in front of the apartment and ride up Carrollton Avenue to St. Charles Avenue, past all the beautiful antebellum homes, all the way to Canal Street and the French Quarter. Or, we could take the streetcar in the other direction down to Esplanade Avenue and the Jazz & Heritage Festival. With the streetcar so handy, who needs to bother with cab rides? We had all of the incredible sights and sounds of the most entertaining city on the planet right at our fingertips, but we knew we could always return to the quiet relaxation of our lovely, beautifully furnished apartment for a good night's rest. We are sooooo looking forward to a return visit !! Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You will love it !!

The Perfect New Orleans Experience

January 19, 2013

My husband and I spent New Years Eve in this precious Carrollton Ave apartment. The location was outstanding. We watched the streetcar pass through the front picture window. The convience of riding the streetcar to and from the French Quarter made our travels easy and fun. The apartment was so spaceous and furnishings quite comfortable. Lush landscaped gardens covering the entrance gave the appearance of a tropical paradise. Fine restaurants and nightclubs were within walking distance. Although the Carrollton area is alive with locals and tourists as well, this apartment remains tranquil and relaxing. We had the perfect New Orleans experience. We highly recommend visiting New Orleans and staying here for a while. Ms Linda 's southern hospitality makes you feel like you are one of the family. Her Carrolltton apartment is the best place to stay if you want to get to know the real New Orleans.
