New Orleans St. Charles Condo (#34730)

A beautiful condo within walking distance of our family including a grandbaby. Nicely decorated, pristine, and so much more comfortable and suited to our needs than a hotel room. This condo is an absolutely great spot to stay. Everything you need or want is supplied by the owners, and you are made to feel completely at home by the other residents. Magazine street is an easy walk, and the street car is at the end of the block for easy access to everything New Orleans has to offer. We evacuated Houston for Hurricane Ike and stayed in this wonderful condo. Not only was it immaculate, but it was tastefully decorated. The owners had all the essentials there: shampoo, conditioner, soap, etc....all we needed was to buy some food. The location cannot be beat. There are numerous resturants in walking distance and the streetcar on St. Charles is half a block away. The street car can take you into the quarter or uptown further to Audobon park. The owners, Jenifer and Eddie, are both very accomodating and can direct you to several points of interest depending on your tastes. I will definitely stay there again if I do not buy it first! If you want to find a place that has ambiance,comfort,and convience all tucked neatly into a charming neighborhood,try this! Shops and lovely restaurants close by. The owners live next door and are very helpful. A true find! This was our third trip to New Orleans for the Jazz Fest..previously we had stayed at a hotel. This was our best trip ever...despite the rain...boohoo... It didn't keep us from having a great time though!! The apartment was just what we were looking for...spotless, tastefully decorated, cozy and comfortable, and located so close to everywhere one would want to explore. We went to the Jazz Fest. and were back to the apartment in less than 20 min.. Thanks Ed...you made our trip...no hassle..and very, very comfortable!! We will surely stay with you again on our next trip back here to New Orleans. And we especially loved the outdoor patio area with all the plants...a great place in which to unwind after a busy day of running around. We will be back!!

Awesome! The condo was decorated beautifully and felt like home! The location was convenient to the Street Car to get to Canal St and to the French Quarter or dining/shopping on Magazine Street. Outdoor patio was nice, and felt secure with the locked gate. It's a small complex and the residents there were very nice. The area was quiet and safe.
