This is a very nice house which is well equipped for a large group. Each bedroom is very nicely furnished and very comfortable. Overall, it was far nicer than I expected for a rental. It is a two block walk to St. Charles Ave. and just a little farther to shoping on Magazine. Very walkable.

This property exceed all of our expectations. Everyone in our group of 10 thought that the house was just perfect for our reunion. The living room was nice and large, accommodating us all very comfortably. The bedrooms were very well decorated and spacious. The kitchen, though a bit narrow for more than a couple of cooks, was decently outfitted with everything we needed for a few breakfasts and cookouts. The best though was the wonderful patio. We spent many mornings and evenings catching up back there. The location was very convenient to the St. Charles streetcar allowing us to easily travel downtown to check out the French Quarter. I highly recommend checking out the French Market District's Flea Market and Farmer's Market. We had the most delicious gator burger there. The owner of the property was also very nice and made the entire rental process very easy. He was responsive in his e-mails and very helpful over the phone. I would highly recommend this property.

The house is nicely appointed and accommodated our family of 8 adults very well; plenty of privacy while ample space for gathering together. Nice linens...all around. We were surprised to find two twin beds and a queen in one bedroom rather than two queens in the room even though it was a large room as all the pictures had indicated the two queens. The location was outstanding for our family vacation...as advertised. the owner was accommodating, bringing us fresh pastries on Easter. You will enjoy your visit!

This house was absolutely amazing! We rented it for my bachelorette party weekend with 7 girls and there was tons of room for everyone to be comfortable. The 3 bathrooms made getting ready super easy. The neighborhood was great, people were friendly and we felt extremely safe. Very easy to get to the French Quarter and not a bad drive from the airport - about 20 mins. The bar was also nice to have so there was no need to find liquor stores. Everything was very clean and well put together. The art in the home was also a nice touch and the surround sound downstairs meant you didn't even need to bring ipod speakers. Will be back in NO for a wedding in July and definitely thinking about staying here again! Awesome experience!

We enjoyed our time in NO. The house and the apartment were very nice. The neighborhood is a little older but the people were very friendly. We would stay again if we returned to NO. ROLL TIDE.

This house was wonderful! Great location, 10 mn away from the French Quarter madness, but yet close when we wanted to get there and enjoy the night scene. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and the beds extremely comfortable. Having two masters was a bonus, especially with the first floor one for those who have a hard time with stairs. Would definitely stay there again if we are back in the Big Easy!! The house had a lot of charm in a quiet neighborhood. Felt part of the city !

This house is great! Amazing location, huge, comfortable beds, and looks even better than in the pictures. The owner is responsive and helpful, and all around the experience was outstanding. Will definitely try to stay here again next time I'm in Nola!

This place is fabulous! The house is spacious and nicely decorated. The things we appreciated most were: very quiet and safe in the evenings even though it was Mardi Gras, the location was close to the Uptown parade routes and close to key shopping spots. We also loved the amenities and the porches! Highly recommend this property.

We were a party of eight, three couples and two small children. The four bedrooms and three baths worked perfectly for us, with the kids sharing a bath with their parents. One bedroom suite is downstairs, and that was helpful too -- the grandparents got a bit of relief from the rest of the crowd. The location of the house is a definite plus, with very easy access to the St. Charles Ave. streetcar and plenty of parking for multiple rental cars. It's borderline Garden District (northernmost edge), but still a good starting point for all Garden District walking tours and places you'd like to go (like the Commander's Palace). The closest supermarket is a couple of miles away, which was a minor inconvenience, but there's a Walgreens and a number of coffee shops, etc. nearby along St. Charles. And by the way, the flooding from Katrina didn't really make it here in any significant way. The first floor of the house is very open and great for a group of vacationers. We found the kitchen layout a bit awkward for multiple cooks, but learned to work with that pretty quickly. Everything we needed, from silverware to all appliances, was there and in good working order. We grilled outside several nights, and that was completely satisfactory too. There is also a small enclosed bar area and a laundry room, so we seemed to lack for nothing. I think all six adult would agree that we were very fortunate in this rental and would all recommend it without reservations.

Recently had our friend's Bachelor Party in New Orleans and stayed here. The house was great. Everything was very clean and new and exactly as advertised. The neighborhood was a little more sketchy than I had hoped, but we had no issues. It's only a few blocks from the train cars, and the cab service is prompt and reliable. Especially for a Bachelor Party or someone on a budget this is great. I might not bring my kids here, just because of the neighborhood. But too be honest, if we made it through the weekend incident free, anyone can. The owner of the house was great and accommodating. Overall I gave it four stars because we had everything we needed. Only mark off is the neighborhood.

I recently stayed at this property with a group of friends. We used both homes over the course of 5 days. There were 7 of use and everyone was comfortable. The home looks and feels exactly as presented in the online pictures. The neighborhood is safe and neighbor are extremely friendly. If I ever visit New Orleans again I will surely consider this vacation home before any five star hotel.

This house has spacious bedrooms, and a very large living room and kitchen with all necessities. The front porch is perfect for sitting on and having morning coffee. Location is great for uptown events, yet not to far from French Quarter.

We recently rented this house to celebrate a 30th Birthday, and it really was perfect for our group. The house is very spacious, and had more than enough room for our group of 9 to sleep and ‘hang out’. The location is also great, only two blocks from the St. Charles streetcar with easy access to uptown and the French quarter. The pictures do not really do this house justice! I would recommend this property to anyone.

This house turned out to be the perfect home away from home for us while we were in New Orleans for a week. The house and furnishings were immaculate, the decor upscale-modern yet comfortable and liveable, and it appeared that the owners had gone to great lengths to insure that every conceivable ammenity was provided. Everything in the brochure was there and more. We sat several nights on both the upstairs and downstairs porches and just "people-watched" when we were "at home". The neighbors were friendly (as were everyone we met in NO), and access to and from the main travel routes was simple and fast. The streetcars were accessible only two blocks away and we walked there several times on our many journeys to the French Quarter and elsewhere when we didn't want to drive. Hats off to Mr. Craig Johnson for making the registration so easy (and safe), and providing such a wonderful place to stay. He is now officially a "cousin" of ours.

The home was very clean. Owner extremely responsive to our needs very helpful with the visit. We were close to the trolleys and transportation easy, occasionally required cab to transport to conference center but not costly. Recommend this home, it is very comfortable and accessible to downtown.

The property was immaculate upon our arrival, and excellent in terms of space and amenities. The location was good in that it is accessible to both uptown and French quarter locations. And, the owner makes the administration of renting a place very easy. I definitely recommend it.

This house is in the perfect location for a New Orleans visit - 2 blocks to St. Charles and the Trolley - yet quiet and restful. We were a party of 9, here for a week - this just worked out so well for us. I would recommend it for any gathering. The fifth bed is an EZ Fold air bed - don't think twice - it was really comfortable!! We would come again - should the opportunity present itself.

This is a wonderful place to stay we had it was 4 couples that stayed and we had the most wonderful time.Everything very neat and clean everything was in perfect shape, this is a beautiful property and it close if you would like to access the Trolly. We stayed in this property while we were attending a convention in New Orleans. It was in a perfect location to access the convention center, the French Quarter and donwtown. The house is immaculate and perfect for any event or stay. Recommend it highly.

We had a gang of 10 people, including four teenagers. The space was perfect for big gatherings in the spacious living room. All the beds were very comfortable, with nice linens. In fact, the house was very nicely furnished. The location was good, near the edge of the Garden District. Plenty of parking, on street and off-street. Most of all, the landlord was always accessible and helpful when necessary. The only drawback was that the kitchen, though spacious, was not designed for serious cooks. But we did alot of serious cooking anyway and had ourselves a great time!

This is the best rental property we've have from Paris, France to Santa Fe, New Mexico. 2 blocks to the street car and 10 minutes to the French Quarter or 20 minutes to Carrolton. Walk to the best of the Garden District - Zara's Market and Coquette. Six of us stayed a week form my brother's and wife's birthdays. Oh, yes, and it was Halloween. What a wonderful escape within NOLA. Thanks Craig.

This was our first vacation to New Orleans and we were thrilled when we arrived at this beautiful house. It is spacious and has all of the amenities of home. We loved the location since it was a short walk to St. Charles for the trolley and 7-8 minutes from Bourbon Street, Harrah's Casino, the Superdome, and the convention center. It was awesome and we have shared photos with family and friends and will always recommend it over a hotel for the true Nawlins experience!

The house is FABULOUS! Beautifully furnished and has everything you need. Walking distance to St. Charles(2 blocks) and easy access to the French Quarters. It was nice to participate in the New Orleans activities and then retreat to a beautiful home away from it all. The spacious home was great for gatherings and a pleasant joy to sit back and enjoy time with friends that came in from other locations. We had a BLAST! We will defintely go back to visit. Lastly, a few recommendations for food - Copelands Bistro and the Trolley stop are within walking distance. Shrimp Po-Boys were overflowing with shrimp and tasty at Cooter Brown.

I was very pleased with the home we rented, was rented for a bachlorette party, it had everything we needed, plenty of room and a great location. Was very clean and comfortable. I would rent it again should the need arise. Pictures were very accurate.

We rented the back house and this house for the first weekend of Jazz Fest. Couldn't be happier with the accommodations. Only 2 blocks from St. Charles with easy access to uptown and french quarter. Really nice shared patio in the back with Grill, outdoor seating, etc. Beds were comfy and house was just overall nice. The house had very nice finishes with plenty of room to sleep and entertain. Will be back for sure.

This house is GREAT! Spacious well stocked kitchen, beds that make you feel like you are staying at a Westin, better TV's and sound system than I have at home! Very secure, friendly neighbors, two enviable parking spots and close to everything. We walked to Commanders Palace for 25 cent martini lunch! Highly recommend, hope to return.

Three generations came together for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time. We are a pretty active, diverse bunch and the layout and location of this house perfectly met our needs. Little kids had room to run and adults had peace and quiet for napping. So much within walking distance too!

The pictures really do not give you the entire comfort and “feel” of this house. My family and I were in town for our daughter’s wedding. We had several children in our group. We wanted a place where we could cook our meals, relax and enjoy each other as well as the sights of New Orleans. This house was ideal, with all of the comforts of home. The property owner pays significant attention to detail and we found the price to be great too!! Do not hesitate to give him a call!

The property was GREAT, you truly don’t have to bring anything but your clothes, and the property has everything just like you are at home. A total of sixteen family members celebrated the 4th of July and Essence Festival at the property, and everybody was extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this property for a large or small group.

My extended family came to New Orleans for my graduation ceremony at Tulane University. The house was a fabulous gathering place for our large group (adults and kids), much nicer than a hotel. The location is great for exploring (whether you're headed out to Uptown, the French Quarter, or the West Bank), and it has all the amenities, including very comfortable beds and extras like car seats for children. The neighborhood is quiet, and we had no security issues. The next-door neighbor runs a catering service, and helped us organize a graduation party. All in all, it was perfect.

Stayed there during Jazz Fest with three other couples. Very modern, comfortable house with great furnishings, especially beds. Craig, the owner, is wonderful. Great stocked booze closet with drinks at market prices. Some wine free! Nice porches. Neighborhood doesn't look great, but people were friendly there. Close the to Charles Street action and beauty.

Fantastic house and great location for families/large groups. Short walk to trolley, Garden Dist and Magazine St. Great restaurants, shopping and grocery all nearby. Plenty of room for our large two families. The kitchen was very accomodating if you like to cook for your group. Friendly neighborhood. Enjoyed St Joseph's Night with the Wild Indians that occured Holy Week in the neighborhood. A side of N.O. most have not experienced before and we met a lot of great people. I highly recommend staying here! Nice change from staying in the French Quarter.

The owner did a great job updating this classic New Orleans home. It is close to everything and there is lots of room for groups. The neighbors even brought over sandwiches for us in case we wanted to cater something with them in the future.

This house was amazing! There is tons of space and it was great for our group. Conveniently located 2 blocks from St. Charles, we were able to walk to many destinations. Each room is well furnished and the beds were very comfortable. There are modern amenities and flat screens in 2 rooms. We loved it and would highly recommend it.

This vacation home was PERFECT. We visited New Orleans for the bowl game and had a wonderful time. The location of this home was safe, quiet and convenient. Modern furnishings, nice layout, and wireless internet service. Truly felt like a home away from home. We are already thinking about when we can come back.

This is definitely the best vacation rental home I've ever stayed in. I've stayed in rental homes in Vail, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Steamboat Springs, and Orlando and this one is at the top. The home is brand new and so is everything in it. The pictures online are nice but don't really show how nice the place is. I also liked the location...two blocks from St. Charles so everything is easily accessable from the location of the home. From there you can choose to hit the tourist spots (French Quarter, Canal St.) or you can get the "real" New Orleans experience by checking out any of the clubs, shops and restaurants within 2-3 miles of the place.

It is an extremely large and beautifully upscale vacation home. Excellent accommodation for any occasions in New Orleans, La. Perfect for a family vacation or a small gathering of close friends. It was a very enjoyable stay and I was pleasantly pleased with New Orleans Garden District. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
