Description of the New Orleans vacation home rental

Elegant 3 -4 bedroom home on Bayou Sauvage in Venetian Isles in New Orleans east. Fish from the dock, take a canoe ride, watch tugboats glide by, see pelicans perch, or just enjoy the spectacular view of the bayou and Lake Pontchartrain in the distance, all within New Orleans city limits! Only 19 miles to Jazz Fest and 19.8 miles to to the French Quarter and the Superdome. 3 - 4 BR/2 BATH with full laundry and off-street parking.

Walk to Hi Tide neihborhood restaurant/convenience store and historic Fort Macomb, built in 1822 and a civil war stronghold in 1861.

(The home is presently set up to sleep 5, but can accommodate 8 with prior notice.)

Area Information

Venetian Isles borders the Bayou Sauvage Nature Preserve with hiking trails and bird-watching, yet still within New Orleans city limits!
