Description of the New Orleans vacation townhouse rental
Beautiful townhome in the heart of the Garden District. 5 minutes to all parts of town, French Quarter, Uptown, Central Business District. Lots of restaurants and shops on Magazine St. There are a lot of antique shops within this area that you can walk to.

Transportation: Less than 2 blocks to the street car which will take you Downtown or Uptown.

Large 3 bedroom 2 and a half bath with lots of entertaining space! Each bedroom either has a King or Queen size bed. There is also a sofa for someone to sleep on as well. Everything is brand new, all the beds, mattresses, etc. There is of course a dining room and living room area. Also an open kitchen area with seating.
*PLEASE NOTE: 2 BRAND NEW BLOW UP QUEEN SIZE BEDS HAVE BEEN ADDED!* When in use, can sleep up to 10 people.There is also another townhome directly next to this townhome. Perfect for large groups and families.

The building is newly renovated with gated off street parking. Your stay will includes croissants coffee and juice every morning.

Car service also available! 1,900 sqft each side. There is also a back yard patio for cocktails!
Area Information
This area is a beautiful walking area and close to all the shopping and restaurants on the famous magazine street. It is also very close to the streetcar, downtown, French quarter and highway. It is 20 minutes from the airport! The photos are not showing the full pictures of this house. It's much better in person!

Comfortable & a Quick Trolley Ride to the Quarters

Three couples travelled to New Orleans to enjoy the food, drink, and Saints vs Packers game. The accommodations have character and are spacious and comfortable. Karen is so easy to work with, even helping us stock our refrigerator so we didn't have to waste our tourist time getting groceries. The location is perfect - quiet, near restaurants and pubs, and with easy access to the trolley system which can take you into the French Quarters. We were very pleased and definitely recommend this location in the Garden District.

Lovely Home in NOLA

Karen, Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely home. We enjoyed the high ceilings and the beatiful decor. The beds were comfortable and linens were clean and fresh. The entire home was spotless and right in the middle of everything. Whether it was going to Magazine st or making our way to French Quarter, the home was in a perfect location and very nice neighborhood. Next time we are going to New Orleans - we will look forward to staying again.

We stayed for two weeks at this place and had a fabulous time. The townhouse was clean, comfortable and in a great location. It's close to local shops and public transport. The owners were welcoming and very helpful during our stay. Highly recommended!

Great location, spacious accommodations

We were looking for an apartment in the Garden District, and close to public transportation, for three couples. This 2 1/2 bath, three bedroom unit was perfect, and only 3 blocks from the trolley, and a short walk from Commander's Palace and the shops and restaurants on Magazine St. It is spacious, and offers all the convenience of home. Other key features are WiFi, full kitchen and large living and dining room. And the porches were a great extra.

Nice home with plenty of room. Initially found it warm in central hallway and further back bedrooms but figured that someone did not leave hallway door open to allow full air circulation. It improved after that and making sure the back bedrooms air conditioners were on during the day. Easy walking distance to street cars. 3 dollars exact change if you want a day pass. Can buy passes at wal-greens too if you dont want to worry about exact change. Grocery store "Fresh Market" is not too far away to drive for food to prepare. Can pretty much walk and explore the Garden district. Beds are comfortable but almost too soft for my family. Pull out couch not as comfortable per nephew in back room. He did not opt to try other couch. Large Shower in back area but don't expect all shower heads to work.. Only one does. Plenty of sheets/towels to use. Had a great time there. Wish had not been so Hot! Nice place to relax and chill if you want.

House was terrific. Perfect walking distance to Magazine St. and St. Charles. Neighborhood representative of grand old New Orleans which was great for walking. Would definitely rent this townhome again.

Garden District rocks

The home was very comfortable and well located in the Garden District. The owners were on site but I never did see them after check in, just their vehicles in the lot. So the experience was very private w/o being isolated . The couple questions we needed answered were handled just fine with a phone call. There were a couple small amenities missing, such as a toaster (we used the oven) and a phone book (only inconvenienced my wife who is the last person on earth w/o a cell phone, much less a smart phone). All in all the stay was terrific. We'd consider staying there again, especially if we could put another person or two in there to help with the expenses. There's plenty of room to put a cot or a larger bed in the third bedroom.
