Description of the New Smyrna Beach vacation condo rental

Sea Coast Gardens Condominium Complex - Oceanview on the Second Floor - 950 square feet with balcony - Very nice (recently renovated) - One bedroom unit with an additional sleeping room for two - Sleeps four comfortably.

Fully equipped kitchen with range, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and small appliances. Dinette area that seats four to six. The complex has two large pools, two kiddie pools and shuffleboard as well as direct beach access.

New Smyrna Beach is the "Old" Florida type town. Laid back. Plenty of casual dining with great seafood restaurants. Canaveral National Seashore is 7 minutes down the road where you can put in your boat for world renown flats fishing-snook, trout, reds in Mosquito Lagoon. Ocean offers kayaking, surfing, sailing, sunbathing and any
other ocean activity.

Old Flagler Avenue has returned to life with shoppes, ice cream treats, surf shops and restaurants. You can also take your car to the North end (1 mile) of the beach and cruise on the driving beach. The surfing is some of the best on the East Coast of the USA! Highway A1A south of here is still a 2 lane road which dead ends into the Canaveral National Seashore.

You can bike on the flat beach or bike in Canaveral National Seashore as well. There are Indian Mounds there to see. 40 Minutes to the west is famous Blue Springs where you can swim with the Manatees or just watch them from the edge of the Spring.

People return to this area year after year because of the location, affordability, and wonderful family atmosphere.

Plenty of affordable golf nearby. Disney, Epcot, MGM, Animal Kingdom are a 1 1/2 hour drive; Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Sea World 1 hour 15 minute drive, Daytona Beach 20 minute drive, Kennedy Space Center 50 min drive

• Deposits: A $300 security deposit is required for weekly rentals and a $500 security deposit for monthly rentals. There is a $50 fee charged for ANY cancellations. The office requires written notice of cancellation at least 120 day's prior for monthly renters and 30 days prior for weekly renters of arrival date. If cancellation notice is received within the allocated time, the balance of your deposit will be refunded. If it is not received timely, the deposit will be forfeited.
   
• Other Fees: There is a cleaning charge of $65 for this one-bedroom unit.

We spent 3 weeks at this condo Dec 22, '07 to Jan 12, '08. We had a wonderful time. It was just the two of us and the condo was very clean, bright and comfortable. The management at SeaCoast Gardens are very friendly and helpful. The beach is a beautiful walking beach and the town is quiet and friendly. I can't wait to go back!
