Description of the New Smyrna Beach vacation condo rental

Spacious 2 Bedroom 2 Bath 6th floor unit in a gated 144 unit all oceanfront, residential and resort condominium located on the south end of the barrier island of New Smyrna Beach.

Common amenities include a large heated swimming pool, 2 lighted tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, clubhouse, and laundry facilities (which are located on your floor).

There are numerous family and fine dining restaurants, art galleries, and quaint shops all within 10 -20 minute drive from the condo...you will find something for everyone!

Area Information

We are forty minutes from the world famous Daytona Beach, one hour from Kennedy Space Center, an hour and half from all of the major central Florida attractions. Those include Disney World, Epcot Center, MGM and Universal Studios, Sea World, the new Aquatica Water Park and Wet & Wild. The oldest city in America, St Augustine is located less than an hour and half away.

Beautiful Sunrises and oceanfront view

The condo seems to have been well taken care of. The condo was very clean. Beautiful view of the ocean. Very nice pool. Shuffleboard. The staff seemed very responsive. For the cost I think it was worth the money as compared to similar offers. The gated parking was a plus. We flew down, so we expected the condo to have everything we needed and for the most part they did. The deposit was fairly prompt in being returned. Cons: - The front gate key swipe box did not work and required us to call the front desk for entry every time. - More cookware and utinsels would have been appreciated. - Towels for the condo were provided, but beach towels would have been appreciated. - No washer or dryer in the unit, but there was a pay washer/dryer on the same floor.

We loved our stay at the New Smyrna Beach Club. The condo was clean and nicely decorated. The location was ideal for us - just a short drive from all the shops and restaurants. The staff was friendly and the pool and beach were not overly crowded at all. Nice family atmosphere. We plan on returning.

Review of Condo

My overall stay was nice at your condo. The unit had a really nice view of the ocean, and was very clean. However, the mattresses in this unit were really uncomfortable and I did not get one good night's sleep the entire week I was there, and I am not a "picky" person. I travel a lot for work, and I never have a problem sleeping in hotels, nor have I ever had a problem sleeping in other condos I have rented in the past. These mattresses most definately need to be replaced and upgraded to make this unit more desirable for repeat renters. Until the mattresses, in both bedrooms, are replaced I will not inquire about renting this place again, or will I recommend it to anyone. Also, I was dissappointed that the unit was so far from the pool, and that I couldn't even see the pool from my unit. The best part of the week was the nice people that worked at this condo complex, especially Rex, and the fabulous fireworks on the evening of the 4th.
