Oversize Jacuzzi in Master Bath. Master Bath and Family Room have floor to ceiling, wall to wall glass overlooking ocean. Master bedroom has a king size bed with a new excellent mattress. Unit was totally renovated and remodeled in 2004 . Fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops, range, microwave and small appliances. There is a dinette that seats 4 and the dining room seats 4. There are 2 folding chairs for additional seating that are kept in the master closet. The balcony contains 2 tables that seat 4 each.

Washer and dryer are located in laundry room INSIDE the unit.

Area Description

Located on Florida 's east central coast, New Smyrna Beach is a quiet seaside retreat located at the Southern mouth of Ponce de Leon Inlet. It is a small, historic city, and yet offers 13.2 miles of beach to enjoy.
Located only 55 miles northeast of Orlando, it serves as a favorite get-a-way destination for many Central Florida residents and has garnered significant notoriety as a surfing destination, often hosting American Surfing Professionals ' competitions.
Through the years, the City of New Smyrna Beach has maintained tight controls on growth, resulting in
a limited number of low-rise condominiums being constructed. The City has also held strict parameters
on beach traffic which, in addition to protecting beach goers, simultaneously protects nesting sea turtles.
It is a nesting ground for loggerhead sea turtles, and Florida 's loggerhead population is the largest in the
nation, second only, internationally, to Masirah Island, Oman, in the Middle East.
These tight controls have continued to maintain the beach 's quaint and natural feel. It serves as a gateway to the historic and picturesque Indian River Intercoastal Waterway. Prime fishing locations also exist at places such as Mosquito Lagoon, just south of New Smyrna. This 21.5 mile long, 3.5 mile wild, lagoon is one of the southeast 's most abundant fishing areas and contains redfish, flounder, black
grouper, and speckled trout, just to name a few.
New Smyrna Beach is bordered to the south by the Canaveral National Seashore 's 57,000 acres and to
the north by Smyrna Dunes Park. This makes the area a refuge to many forms of wildlife that are listed
as endangered. Canaveral National Seashore Park is home to a variety of indigenous birds and many unique species of plants and animals.
This past spring the beach underwent a re-nourishment project in an effort to replenish some of the sands
lost during the hurricanes of 2005. The $7 million project brought in nearly 800,000 cubic yards of sand to
distribute on approximately 6 miles of beach that needed reinforcements.
While New Smyrna Beach is primarily known for its beautiful white sand beaches, many people may not realize its national reputation for the arts. It is home to the Atlantic Center for the Arts, an international artists-in-residence community, located on 69 acres at Turnbull Bay. The Center attracts the contemporary art world 's top names in painting and sculpture to teach mid-career artists.
