Description of the Newport Beach vacation home rental

We rent on a WEEKLY basis from mid-JUNE - mid-SEPTEMBER
This newly-decorated duplex is larger than the average beach house. The upper unit has 2 bedrooms, the master has a king-size bed and the other has two twin beds. In addition, there are 2 queen-size futons in the living room to sleep a total of 8 people. Each room has comfortable and casual nautical/beach-type decor, ...geared to accommodate families. This unit offers 2 decks, one at the front entry way and the other off of the bedrooms in back..
The lower unit is a large one-bedroom apartment. The bedroom has a queen-size bed and there are 2 queen-size futons in the living room to sleep a total of 6 people in the unit. This unit offers a patio in the front and a deck on the side.
Both apartments are fully furnished; HDTV & WiFi, cooking and eating utensils, washer-dryer, and garage parking for each.
We rent on a weekly basis from mid-June thru mid-September, $1600 for the upper and $1500 for the lower. Both units can be rented together at a discounted rate.

We are family owned and handle all of the operations of renting on our own. We take pride in taking excellent care of our property. Our tenants become our friends.

Area Information

This duplex is very centrally located. It is approximately one football-field away from the sand and one block from the Newport Pier. It is steps-close to the boardwalk where there are many restaurants, stores, sport-rentals, entertainment, local transportation, etc. There is a convenience store directly across the boulevard from the house. It is a short distance to Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Hollywood, etc.

We are located in a residential neighborhood at the entrance to the Balboa Peninsula.

Fantastic Beach House!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the 1917 Balboa beach house the week of August 11-18, 2012! It was clean, stocked with all of the necessities and the location was excellent! We were literally steps from the beach, rented our bikes and boards from the friendly bike rental across the street and had one of the best vacations of our lives. The weather was perfect, the water was beautiful and the location of the beach house allowed us to walk the pier and local fun businesses each day. The home was comfortable, roomy and had everything we needed. We were fortunate to meet the owners and extended family, who added an extra special touch to our vacation with their friendliness and made us feel at home at all times. We will definitely rent again next summer and hope to make this a yearly event!

Great Beach Pad

Great beach pad - a hop, skip, jump to the sand and all the shops, and restaurants. Good for a family of four (downstairs unit). Perfect for our needs and in great condition. Audre was great to work with and accomodated us at the very last minute. Thanks for helping us to have a great week at the beach :)

Summer time

We stayed in the upper unit which was 2 bed, 1 bath with a large living area. The unit was clean and the owner and family were extremely nice and easy to work with. We had a great time and were within walking distance from downtown and the beach. We will definately be going back!!!
