Oregon Beachfront Sweeping views! (#10855)

Write a review This was a first for us to rent a cabin instead of a Motel. We will probably never stay in a Motel again. This experience changed all of that!! The views were wonderful,wood stove cozy while we just layed around and read, slept,took in the quiet roar of the Ocean, and oh the views early morning while sipping your coffee, watched a movie which we hadn't done in years! We seriously did not want to leave to go to town. We will stay again.Perfect prescription for a relaxing weekend. We had a wonderful time at this house. The home sits on a cliff with stunning views of the beach & ocean. Definitely a fantastic value. 3 miles south of town, easy beach access, and a feeling of total privacy. Looking forward to our next trip. This was certainly a beautiful spot. The ocean views from the cabin were awesome. We liked being in a quiet neighborhood but only minutes from the quaint shops of Newport. We bought a salmon right off the docks and had a delicious dinner. It was clean and comfortable. We hope to go there again some time. This house had a fantastic view, and a great wrap-around deck that was perfect to relax on. It was outside of Newport so the light pollution didn't affect the star-gazing. Nicely stocked house, big enough for 4, at a a very good price, as long as you don't mind cleaning up after yourself. If you have kids, be careful of the cliff edge right outside! Loved it. Will probably come back if it stays the value vacation rental it is now. My parents (who were visiting from the Midwest) and I stayed over Labor Day weekend. This was a nice little house for the three of us at a great value. Beautiful view of the beach from the living room windows, comfy beds, stocked kitchen & nice wood stove. Thanks for making it a great trip! My best friend an I had a girl's week ath the beach, talking, laughing and just resting away from the pressures and stresses of life. This was a wonderful little peice of heaven to do all of that in. Thanks to the owners for sharing their litle peice of heaven with the rest of us. We would love to return one day. Perfect location for both. Agate beach must 2 miles down the almost level beach. Home has beautiful new wood floors. Nicely equipped. BIG windows across entire ocean exposure. Cozy. Relaxing. A winner. j Thank you for such a great weekend at the MOST beautiful HOME on the coast! Well-equipped, well-furnished, lovely home, and OH MY GOSH THE VIEW! Thank you, thank you! We spent our Thanksgiving holiday here, and it couldn't have been better. Beautiful views of the coast, with very close access to a lovely stretch of beach. The house was very warm and cozy, plenty of kitchen supplies, and made for a wonderful time for 6 adults, 3 children, and 2 dogs! We had a great experience on our weekend getaway. The home is nice, clean & in a nice neighborhood. The path to the beach is paved, and very easy to maneuver. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen is fully stocked, and the views are awesome from the covered deck. We will definitely come back on our next trip to Newport! We loved the house and the beach. Incredible views of a beautiful and quiet expansive beach. The house was warm and welcoming with nearly everything we needed. The beach was an easy short walk down a path; very quiet and peaceful. The sound of the ocean and the bizillion stars at night made it a very cleansing and de-stressing break. Limited cell and blackberry reception which was also quite nice as it forced the total escape from the hustle and bustle of life. We look forward to staying here again. We rented this beach house for 9 days as a spot to get our family together for the first time in many years. The view was great! The house was well equipped with everything we needed. It took us a while to figure out where the trail was, to the beach. We found it on the second day, and took daily walks. The house is away from the busy city, but close enough to enjoy the attractions and shop for anything we needed. Warning: we could not get cell phone signals, and there was not good TV reception. The TV was not hooked to cable. There was a DVD/VCR player, and a good variety of movies. Also, don't plan on using the sofa bed for sleeping - some of the springs are broken, and it is very lumpy. They did have foam fold-out beds that were very comfortable. These were minor glitches, but things to be aware of and plan for. In all - we enjoyed our stay and had a great time. My favorite things: walking barefoot on the beach, and falling asleep while listening to the ocean waves!! The house was very comfortable; views magnificent & easy beach access. The beach wasn't crowded. We had a great time! We really enjoyed our stay - excellent view and very quiet neighborhood. Great access to the beach. A very cozy and comfortable house and just the right size for five of us - and very easy to clean. We were happy not having to add a cleaning fee. If the information is available, we are curious of the asking price for the house, as we noticed it is for sale. Thank you! What an incredible home and oceanfront deck to rest, whale watch, and take short day trips to see the magnificent pacific coast. This home is well kept, clean and has all the amenitities one could need. The owners were very helpful in guiding us to areas of interests that we would've otherwise missed. It is very affordable; can't imagine a better deal for the peace, oceanfront view, and accomodations. We'll go back! It was a fabulous view and neat up -to-date rental. We have stayed in some that just are O.K. on the coast but we all loved this one. Very warm and inviting! Will recommend to all my friends and family. We enjoyed the fact that we were so close to the ocean and were able to walk down to the beach pretty easily. The wood burning stove was wonderful and kept the chill away. We would definitely stay here again.
