Perched high above the beautiful Beverly Beach with a panoramic view from Newport's historic Yaquina Head Lighthouse all the way to Cape Foul Weather, you'll find this wonderful escape! Discover all there is to offer in this centrally located home away from home. This unique "getaway-from-it-all" is located between Newport and Depoe Bay. Large living room windows provide a great place to watch the whales migrate past this location twice a year. Many resident whales hang out all year long!! Better yet...enjoy amazing sunsets at dusk and the allure of the lighthouse throughout the night! The view from this location can't be beat!!

Simple Pleasures sits on a large naturally landscaped lot
surrounded by trees and native vegetation. Located on a tranquil dead end street, just a short distance from beach access.

Perhaps the most important amenity is sleeping soundly to the sound of the crashing surf without the disturbance of the all-to-familiar sounds of people staying next door or directly above you. Here you can sleep peacefully and as late as you like without the chaos of a multi-unit location.

The house is located less than 1/2 mile away from the Beverly Beach State Park (nearest beach access). It is also just a short drive (5 minutes) to the Yaquina Head State Park which offers beach access, an interpretive center, tidepools (offering both natural and man-made handicap accessible ones), lighthouse tours and more. It's about a 10-15 minute drive into Newport, allowing you easy access to all of the wonderful opportunites that await you in Newport, Oregon!

It is just a short drive (15 minutes) to the Oregon Coast Aquarium. In town we recommend you visit the Historic Bayfront and Nye Beach for shopping, food, entertainment, art galleries and more. If you would like to golf or fish those activites are very close. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to the Agate beach golf course. For fishing (or whale watching trips) there are several different companies that offer trips of various lengths of time and depths. There is also a local recreation center.

If food is what you're looking for there are plenty of options every taste. Everything from seafood to thai to a great burger and fries. We are happy to make recommendations!

• Other Fees: cleaning & linens: Upon your request we will provide linens and cleaning services for an additional cost dependant upon the size of your group and length of stay ($60-$100). Cancellations made with more than 60 days notice will be full refunded, 60-45 days will receive 75% of the cost back, 45-30 days 50% of the cost back, 30-15 days 25% of the cost back, and 15 days or less 0% of the cost back. We had an outstanding weekend in OR and we were thrilled with the accommodations! The house was charming and comfortable. We loved having a fire outside at night. And the best part was breakfast each morning out on the deck in the adirondack chairs taking in the beautiful view! I only wish we could have extended our trip!  more...

We had a LOVELY time The house was immaculate and we enjoyed the extra touches, candles etc. The views from the house were spectacular We spent the evenings sitting around & gazing out the windows.There was a real warmth to the setting. The Pacific Ocean view from this house is just spectacular! House is located end of the street lots of privacy. Plenty of backyard ocean view space for bonfire or just outdoor activities.
