Description of the Newport vacation home rental

3300 Sq Ft. Log home on two private acres across from Moolack Beach. Located in a bucolic setting with champagne taste. Perfect for beachcombing, bike riding, kite flying, and beautiful paths behind the home available for hikes in the forest; or just sit on the deck watching and listening to the waves and enjoying the beautiful sunsets. All bedrooms face the ocean with french doors leading to the deck and are on the main floor. No rooftops or homes to block your view. Master bath has a jacuzzi. For your inside entertainment, the home features HD TV with satellite, stereo, wi-fi and many card and board games. A large game room located in the basement contains a Billiard table, ping pong, darts, giant wood hand made chess and checker set and bar with switchable tabletop displaying casino games. The home is brand new, the kitchen is well equipped for that Thanksgiving dinner and ready for guests.

The home is approximately 3 miles north of shopping in Newport and approximately 1 mile south of Beverly Beach State Park. Ocean fishing is a leisurely walk from the driveway to the beach or, less than two miles south are two beautiful reservoirs for trout fishing. Deep Sea fishing, crabbing, clamming are available at the historic newport marina. The Newport Aquarium is a "must see" and judged as one of the top 10 in the nation. Newport is advertised as the #1 spot for Dungeness Crabs. Depot Bay, a whale watching and storm watching sensation, and Lincoln city are a short drive north. Driving through Wine country is part of the enjoyment of the coast. Don't miss the Wine and food festival or the kite flying championships.

The home is beautiful with lovely furnishings and views. The downside for beachcombers is that you have to cross HWY 101 to access the beach which is not ideal - especially with children. The owners are very responsive. The property management company was frustrating at the very least. Newport is so centrally located we were able to take in a glass blowing class, visit the lighthouse, take a hike and explore the tide pools with starfish without traveling more than 20 miles. We didn't have time to watch the whales or go clamming but would have had easy access. Staying in this location was a BIG plus for those activities. You will enjoy time at this home.

The location is great, the view is wonderful and the house is gourgous! Loved the Lincoln Log house. Our family had a memorable stay. This house is across the street from Moolak beach which is good for agate hunting and running on the beach in the morning. The beach has a great view of the lighthouse.

This is a beautiful house with an even more beautiful view!! The beach is just down the driveway allowing us to just walk out and enjoyed our morning runs on the sand. Close distance to everything in Newport. We shared the house with 2 other couples and it was perfect for spending time with them in a home enviornment instead of renting separate motel rooms and it was more economical. The kitchen is well stocked with all you will need to cook and eat a meal so don't waste space packing your own. The entire home has tile floorcovering which made cleaning before our departure a breeze. Good idea for a rental house!! I cannot say enough good things about this new home on the beach with it's breath-taking views. Bring a jacket this time of year. The breeze on the beach can be chilly!! I'm sure you will enjoy your stay!

The house is very spacious and beautiful. Didnt have a hot tub as listed but a very large master jacuzzi tub. The view is outstanding of the ocean.
