Great house. very comfortable seating upstairs with a beautiful view. Lots of deck chairs both up and down. Plastic anarandack were easy to move and picnic table got lots of use.

A NEW BEGINNING

A year ago my husband had a cardiac arrest. The 8th of January was the day we brought him home from the hospital, also, this is the last day of our stay at the *American Dream*. This weekend is a Christmas present to our kids and to my husband, so we could start the beginning of a new year. The house was a perfect getaway. It was close to Newport, so the guys spent several hours on the boardwalk crabing. Us girls spent the day watching the commercial boats, playing games and walking on the beach. I have to say that the path and the stairs to the beach is the nicest and easiest trail on that coast line. Then in the evening time we spent time in the hot tub. A perfect way to end the evening. The weather this weekend was perfect. The sun was out and there was no breeze. Tee shirt weather!!! Three of the young adults in our group even took advantage of the boogy boards. Something you do not see in January on the Oregon coast. Of course the hot tub felt great to them when they came back. Down stairs has two bedrooms with king size beds,a big play area for the younger kids in the group, with bunk beds a big screen TV (games) and a foosball table. Upstairs you have a big table, kitchen, a bedroom with a king size bed, bathroom and a big living area with several big windows to watch the ocean and another big screen TV. This getaway home offers something for every age of child in you. I definitely would come back and I would also recommend * American Dream* to all ages of kid in us all. The owners are very nice to work with and I want to thank you Linda and Rich for sharing your *American Dream * with me and my family. It was and is truely a new beginning for us all. THANK YOU!!!!! We enjoyed a great trip to the oregon coast. After searching online for a week or so we selected "American dream" to host a mothers day retreat for my wife, sister in law and mom. Everyone loved the home. Fourteen of us all together with six adults and eight children. First thing that we noticed when we walked into the home was the fantactic view. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. Seven of the kids slept down stairs on the sofa bed and bunk beds and had a great time. Even thought they were up late we noticed how good the insulation is in the home. Just close the door and almost no noise. My wife and I have a nine month old boy and found plenty of room and to spare in the larger downstairs bedroom. With the king sized bed a table and chairs there was plenty of room for his crib. The kids loved the foose ball table, the hot tub, the sand toys and the short walk to the water. My nine year old son and his cousin even went boogie boarding on the last day. Boogie boards and sand toys are provided at American Dream. The parents loved the short walk to the water, the views, short drive ( about 5 minutes) to Newport, the comfortable beds and variety of activities close by. The Newport aquarium is worth a look! Linda was a pleasure to work with and even left a welcoming mothers day gift for the moms. Everything in the home is well thought out and well loved. We would stay at American dream again. My son summed it up best. When we got home from the trip my son told me it was better than Disneyland!

This is a wonderful house. The views are incredible. It's very private but still close to town. The house was very spacious, great layout especially when traveling with children. We were very comfortable there. I would recommend this house to anyone, and look forward to staying there again.
