Description of the Newport vacation apartment rental

Historically significant building located just two blocks from Newport harbor and most of Newport's attractions.

Immaculate studio suite has a king bed, living area with sofa bed, hardwood floors, large bath. The suite does not have a full kitchen, but does have a good size fridge/freezer, microwave, and kettle. Utensils, linens provided. Use of washer / dryer for week+ stays. Cable TV, Wi-Fi, A/C. Off-street parking.

Walk to everything! A stone’s throw to scenic Newport Harbor, theater, great restaurants, shops, boutiques, galleries, museums and more.

Small to medium size NON-SHEDDING dog welcome. Sorry, no exceptions.

Area Information

Two blocks to Newport Harbor, Thames Street and the Brick Market. Walk up the historic hill to beautiful Bellevue Avenue's shops, restaurants and art galleries. If you're up to it, keep walking and take in a mansion or two. Or take a left on Memorial Boulevard and in minutes, you'll be at The Cliff Walk and Easton's Beach.

We're across the street from a nice park. Many of our guests never move the car from the time they arrive.

Spacious and charming

Had a great weekend stay here last summer. The suite had everything I needed: Wi-Fi, a kettle to make tea, a fridge to store milk, cheese, etc., and air conditioning. The owner, Karen, greeted me when I arrived and showed me around. The house is centrally located. Just steps away from the main drag, Thames Street, which has lots of shops and restaurants. The harbor is nearby and is particularly beautiful at night when the white lights strung around the boats and yachts are lit up. There's also a small park across from the house where you can sit on a bench and people watch. Before my trip, I'd checked out different hotels and B&B's to compare prices. This suite offered the best deal in my opinion. You get a lot of space: a separate living area with a sofa, coffee table, a large flat screen TV and DVD; a roomy bathroom with attractive terra-cotta floor tiles and two sinks; a comfy king-size bed; plus, free parking in a lot beside the house. Location-wise, it's a walker's delight. All this for the same price of a standard room in a chain hotel. Great value with lots of charm.
