Beautifuuly renovated historic brick two story home located in the heart of Newport's Historic District. Property features all the luxury amenities for sophisticated in town living plus a 26 x 26 rooftop terrace overlooking the city.
Originally built in 1800's and completely restored by interior designer /owner in 2006, this 1860 square ft.home features: beautiful one of a kind designer furnishings and window treatments, Brazilian Cherry floors, stone and marble bathrooms, a state-of-the-art gourmet kitchen features granite and slate countertops, stainless steel appliances and is completely equipped with everything for the discriminating cook.
The greatroom has an antique dining table with seating for 10, a gas fireplace, wet bar, built-in-Media Center. Step up three steps to a full living room, powder room, a custom panelled study with office work area, wireless internet and a sitting room.
The second floor features a master suite complete with it's own luxury bathroom, a guest bedroom and guest bath plus lots of closets. The butler's kitchen completely equipped with it's own refigerator/freezer,cooktop and tabletop service makes entertaining on the rooftop terrace easy. Seating for 24 at umbrella shaded wrought iron tables provides a beautiful setting for any outdoor gathering.
The stainless grill and lounge chairs complete the outdoor furnishings.

Area Information
Located in the heart of the historic district less than a block to great restaurants, theatres, museums, shopping. Three blocks to waterfront. You can walk to everything or catch the trolley or bus at the corner. Three blocks from Visitors Center where you can pick up tickets for all the local attractions.

This was quite possibly the most beautiful property I have ever rented. Everything was top of the line, the lay-out was wonderful and several guests of ours commented that they would be quite happy to ditch their own houses, furniture, household items, etc. and move in exactly as is. We felt the same. The house is also in an ideal location for really touring Newport. Our stay of 3 days was far too short.
