Description of the Newport vacation home rental

113 Center Ave. is maintained by a professional housecleaning staff. Linens and towels are provided. First (Easton's) Beach is a 5 minute walk away. Second Beach (Sachuest) is a 15 minute walk over the grounds of St. George's Academy. Sachuest and Sakonnet Points can be seen from the top of the hill. The center of downtown Newport activity is 5 or 7 minutes away by car. Secure and ample off-street parking provides relief from the meter police. There's an extra tank of propane for the deck grill.

Area Information

Newport is known for its local history, sailing, tennis, music festivals, dining, oceanside walks, architectural highlights, and plenty of night life. Thames Street, by the harbor, is great for people watching, pub life and dining. the same is true for Broadway with its unique cuisine and edgier, more direct sensibility. Newport History is a main thread in the embryonic development of this country. Arguably it was the original Wild West - Boston being a tad to the northeast. Bellevue Avenue offers a view of a retro Bling Strip. The pirhana class came here to relax their aggressive tendancies at Baily's Beach. Not so their wives who cat scratched their way to supremacy on the party circuit. Today you will also learn about the immigrants who built, and served in the mansions. Intellectuals and artists also sought contemplative moments here. The Norman Bird Sanctuary and the Sachuest Point Reserve are nearby. Festivals and other events abound, and Newport is a popular wedding destination.
