Thistle Cabin was built in the 1800's. It has been completely restored and modernized. It is 20 minutes from Blacksburg, VA and a half mile from the New River where canoeing, fishing and hiking trails abound. The cabin sits on top of a mountain with views down the valley. If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful retreat you will love Thistle Cabin.
Area Description
With the New River a half mile down the road you can rent canoes, go fishing or just spend the day on the river. Hiking trails are near by in two parks, The Cascades and Pandapas Pond. Blacksburg, the home of VA Tech, is a 20 minute drive where you can find shops, restaurants and other options.
