Description of the Niagara-on-the-Lake vacation cottage rental
Down a long private lane, just five minutes from Niagara on the Lake, this rose covered cottage sits on a willowbank above Lake Ontario. Visit the many local attractions then come home to relax. From the secluded patio at waters edge, watch the brilliant sunset give way to the sparkle of Toronto's skyline. Sip local wines as the moon rises over Lake Ontario. Enjoy breakfast on the rose covered porch, watching horses graze peacefully in the back field. Come for a special weekend, week or longer.
2 bedrooms, both with queen sized beds, water views, hiqh quality linens, feather duvets and lake breezes. Luxurious bathroom with clawfoot tub. Large living/dining room with gas fireplace and picture windows. Large sunny full service kitchen complete with washer and dryer. BBQ on deck. Porches and deck surrounded by extensive garden and lawns. Satellite TV/DVD, wood floors, large windows and ceiling fans throughout. Set on a 10 acre family property with only 2 other cottages. Each cottage sits on it's own acre of lawn directly at lake's edge. Beautiful stone patio set down the bank at water's edge, as well as a large deck, picnic table, bbq and small firepit. To the north of the cottage is the panorama of Lake Ontario, with views across to the Toronto skyline, ships sailing past, and an incredible array of birdlife. To the south are several acres of lawn, gardens, fruit trees, a small herb garden, a raspberry patch and several rows of eating grapes. Beyond lies lush horse pasture, and our horses grazing peacefully in their fields.

Excellent Hideaway near NOTL

Lark's Lookout has 2 cottages available for rental. Very conveniently located near Niagara on the Lake with wineries on the way and fantastic views of Lake Ontario. The owner is very hospitable and willing to help with any troubles you may have. Cottages have excellent linens and towels and thought has been put into providing plenty of areas to sit and enjoy. We were fortunate with the weather being cool in August, as it is usually quite hot and the cottage does not have air conditioning. Also, the lakes bring more humidity then I had expected. Great location, comfortable accommodations, and accessible owner when needed.
