Description of the Nokomis vacation villa rental

One of the original beach houses on North Portia, quiet dead end street, lovingly restored and redecorated up to today's tastes. Come and relax and get away from it all! Large yard, garden with great patio and steps leading down to your own private dock with two kayaks for your use. Bring your own boat or rent one and enjoy direct access to the inter coastal waterway and out to the gulf of Mexico! Two car parking, with own garage and complete opportunity for relaxation. Three bedroom, two bathrooms, lanai & double french doors leading to waterfront patio.

Large garden with newly paved patio. Outside patio set with gas barbeque grill and nice ambient lighting for enjoyable evening out by the water.

Newly installed granite kitchen with stainless steel appliances, leads out to dining room, lanai and patio for easy entertaining.

Three bedrooms furnished is relaxing white wicker Floridian style. Master bedroom has king bed. Second bedroom is a queen, while the third bedroom doubles as office work space with pull out sofa bed for extra guests.

Two full bathrooms, new vanities and tile. The first has shower and bath, while the second has large tiled shower.

Full laundry room with Maytag washer and dryer.

Enjoy Florida’s beautiful weather & beaches - there’s so much to see nearby…Venice beach, Manasota beach, Nokomis Beach, Casey Key, Siesta Key, just to mention a few. A great home and local to relax and unwind!

Take a ride by bicycle and enjoy the miles of wonderful bike paths. Take a kayak and enjoy a paddle. Take a ride to Sharkey’s waterfront dining, with band and fishing pier. Convenient to great variety of stores. The perfect location on the Gulf Coast. The beautiful town of Venice on Venice Island is just 5 minutes away, Siesta Key is less than 20 minutes ride, or take a day trip to Disney in Orlando 2 hours away. Easy access to interstate 75 and Laural Road.

The Portia Experience

Coming from Wisconsin my wife and I were looking for a warm and relaxing home in the sun. Boy, did we find the perfect house!! Set on a canal with your own pier we enjoyed the kayaks, went bike riding and relaxed on the back patio. Very clean and comfortable, would rent this house again.

A Place to Chill

This was mostly a business trip and to come home to this relaxing setting was just what we needed. The home is immaculate and has everything one would need. Just enjoy your evening looking out at the canal, and if you fish throw in a line. Highly recommend.

Owner's reply:

We focus on making our guest's stay a great one by providing everything you need and a house with lots of wonderful relaxing spots. The patio over looking the water is lovely but you can also park a chair on the dock, drop that line into the water and catch plenty of fish! Other guests caught snapper and snook right off the dock. You can also get the kayaks into the water and fish from those too! Or just enjoy a paddle around the bay!

great place to stay by Venice

January 3, 2013

Nice house recently renovated with modern kitchen and baths. Don't let the old Florida exterior fool you, its beautiful inside, modern electronics, kayaking the lagoon was fantastic, a little fishing off the back dock was fun. The beach is 10 minutes away and a blast! Will come back again soon!
